I keep saying that the next time I start a spoiler thread I'll use this as the first post picture, but I don't actually start them so I might as well post it now...
This turn there was again much confusion about east and--er wait, actually I played turn 134 by myself. There's not much to talk about this turn. Most of the action will happen in two turns (unless Commodore attacks next turn , but he hasn't really made any movements). SoL will complete in two turns. Steam Power will complete in two turns. So anyway, have a big overview picture for this turn: The Battle of Bursa will probably feature 7 Knights, 10 CKNs, 3 Catapults, 2 Axemen, a Maceman, and a Chariot against 11 Longbows (one of which is a CG3D1 GG) and an Axeman. Most of the Knights are still hanging around KA this turn since they can catch up (cue Lewwyn rant) while still having the option of providing defense next turn if needed. Plus it delays yuris knowing the exact composition of the attacking forces, and saves supply costs. We're still building Riflemen with a few Cannons sprinkled in (the rule I'm using is that we build a Cannon if it completes one turn sooner than a Rifleman). Oh and Mist teched Nationalism and got a Great Prophet. He still needs one more GP for a GA I think. He could of course build the Hindu shrine...

By the way we're up to 49% culture on Kiki's clam tile. Now if davy would play the turn...

The answer to B is that I think he sunk three turns into a fort on the cow tile. If you look at the overview picture, there is almost a canal path from the western ocean into the salt lake. If Commodore is under the mistaken impression that a ship can move from a fort into Sasha, then it would make sense for him to start building a canal. He hasn't returned to the cow tile though, so if my guess is correct then he presumably realized that it doesn't work that way.

OleKuro finally played his turn, so we played T135. This is in fact the least interesting golden age ever. Basically most of the "news" is just informational stuff.
Mist: He ate a turn of anarchy for that. Yuri: Galleons? Galleons?! Thanks for not building more defenders, pal. Commodore: Y U STACK UNITS IN PLAIN SIGHT? Does he think we're going to attack him with Rifles? Dave: Your turn. Play it. Us? Eh, just buildin' some workshops and stuff. We got this dude: At 4% odds over the Merchant we were expecting. No big, so long as we don't repeat the feat at Cath. Demos are uh, pretty good.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
So uh Commodore is getting Fish from Mist now. Which isn't doing anything because he already has two Fish. Is he going to tech Medicine and build Sid's Sushi with his Merchant?

Hearthstone: ArenaDrafts Profile No longer playing Hearthstone. Third time this week. I know Noble thinks I let this annoy me too much but I just don't see why one can't find 15 seconds to make a post in the tech thread when you're going to miss a turn or two. I have never missed/held a turn without telling the people I'm playing with that I will be doing so - its common courtesy and in the era of smartphones and free wifi everywhere there's really no excuse for not doing so. Regardless, I anticipate this will result in a concession sometime in the next couple weeks rather than the hoped for actually finishing the game which is still close enough as to be interesting.
