Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore

Werewolf Returns

Does anyone have a copy of novice's Mafia Helper script for scraping votes from threads? The original Dropbox link is dead and I don't have a copy.

You haven't truly played werewolf until you've used hours of your time (that you really should have used for other things) convincing your fellow villagers of someone's guilt to end up being completely wrong. And then getting killed for that move, making the wolves win.

I cant wait to find out how to play this deception game.

Tell the truth always. Except if you're guilty. Or unless you're innocent and you want to trick the ones who are guilty.

But if you are guilty, it is also good to tell the truth as long it's it's just part of the truth.

I mean, what is truth, really?

What's the rule on encoded messages? I've seen everything from people leaving breadcrumbs via acrostics and highlighting them later, to writing posts in cipher and revealing the key later, to people writing strings of ASCII symbols that when combined together in the right order with the right word wrap, revealed an image with a message in it.

I don't believe we've ever banned them before, but aside from one or two games which explicitly allowed certain power roles to anonymously post cryptic messages (including pictures) I can't recall anyone attempting to. Like 90% chance doing so will get someone lynched anyway.

I tried it once as a villager and when I revealed it, got lynched because I was *obviously* a wolf trying to make stuff up after the fact. I wouldn't do it again but YMMV

I think I remember a few breadcrumb reveals, but IIRC they end up being pretty vague so as not to be obvious up front. I don’t think I recall anything game breaking.
