It's been 4+ years. I have lost my mind, and I am gonna run another Werewolf game.
Details to come. I am not going to write a whole fan fiction story to go with it. I will likely make it a low power level game, because I don't feel like trying to balance umpteen crazy roles. I will take suggestions, and either implement them or brazenly ignore them as I see fit.
Who's in?
EDIT: Apparently these guys:
- Bobchillingworth
- Serdoa
- Gaspar
- Lewwyn
- naufragar
- superdeath
- Commodore
- Chevalier Mal Fet
- El Grillo
- scooter
- Cyneheard
- Charriu
- thrawn
- Rowain
- AdrienIer
- GeneralKilCavalry
EDIT EDIT: I'm capping it here at 16 to keep this more manageable to run. If you were interest but missed the boat, you can sign on to be a sub if someone drops out, or just stay excited for a possible next game.

Does RB actually run high power games? I tried to run a high power game and it was a complete flop.

I am in. Warning in advance that I am not going to devote my every waking moment to the game, though I will make a reasonable effort to be active.
Low power is fine by me. Nostalgia game, nostalgia rules.

If some of those old games weren't high power, I'd be scared to see what is.

If you are new here and are wondering what Werewolf on RB is all about, it's a fun and sanctioned way to make a ruckus about nothing and accuse everyone else of being a liar, and enjoy watching everyone else do the same to each other. If you have time to make Civ turn reports, you also have time to come yell in here a few times a day. So give it a try, you won't regret it.

I checked my thread history and apparently I actually ran two high power games. The second one wasn't really a flop but the village was slaughtered and my rules twist for the game ended up with low player engagement.
EDIT: I read further and actually my second game was a low power game disguised as a high power game. Can't believe I tricked myself seven years later...

I'll consider joining, but I have only ever played Mafia/WW in person. How does forum play work?

More-or-less the same, based on my experience of both online and in-person play, except the day / night cycles obviously take a lot longer to resolve (around a day each), and the Scum and sometimes power roles of any alignment will have special Tinychat forums opened so that they can coordinate (this is done to prevent profile campers viewing that other players are sending PMs, which is how teams collaborated in our initial games).

I'll surely regret this, but I said I'd be in, so I'm in.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
