Riverside grassland gold?! What is this, the Apolyton Demogame? smile

Capital's border pop will reveal a lot of tiles to the south, so I'd favor SE-S to the non-forest hill to defog a couple extra tiles in the east. Then SW-SW. There's another river down there! I've never actually played IMP, but I feel like this map is going to heavily favor rapid expansion.

I've been thinking some about the abundance of PHI leaders. I haven't look in detail at the other pairings to see what the other-PHI's are likely to do, but there will probably be stiff competition for Pyramids and the monk wonders. However given the river valleys and two luxury resources there won't be a massive commerce crunch as long as you don't neglect cottages. REP would be a nice-to-have, but those hammers will also give you many settlers and War Chariots. Forget chasing wonders or religion and build the wonder of Workers+Settlers. So where is the unique opportunity for exploiting PHI in this game? EDIT: Easily string MoM golden ages back-to-back into Nationalism -> Military Tradition?

Our WC veterans will be the future Cuirassiers of tomorrow.

Going to take a popular idea from others and include songs to go with the city names. For Overlord (which has 4 seasons now with Opening/ending songs) I choose:

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

I don't hate it, but I don't love it. The food that you've found so far is pretty weak frown I think the east white dot would be better 1NE of ivory so that crabs are first ring. It would make an OK helper city but still pretty weak. Hopefully there is some better food in the fog to the west, or ideally near that gold Allears

Jungled dry rice is a bummer, but wow look at all that riverside grassland eek I don't think I've seen this much river and grassland since you made the PB53 map!

The east white dot was my attempt to not burn a grassland river tile :d

But, i guess first few cities need to be productive sooner.

Looks like Hunting will be required sooner rather than later, and it looks like we will need a border pop to pick up another food resource at the gold city. Still no 6-food resources and no blatantly obvious 2nd city site. Copper may be the deciding factor since that 6 yield becomes 8 with the IMP settler bonus and you could turn the 2nd city into an endless settler pump.
