Once he unwittingly decided to play for Cyneheard I think his game was finished. I think razing Meatballz's city was a masterstroke, but he should have pushed his advantage though, either by a very restrictive peace or by pushing on as much as possible. But the situation where he's going back on the peace deal so readily (and most of the 3rd parties either know or suspect such, despite Meatballz thinking otherwise) will only paint a huge target on his back, even in the unlikely event of him beating Meatballz this time.

Example of Iron Island. They're fully jungled and i also jungled all the gems on the interim islands.

Ad Hoc's iron island only has room for one city, the other two iron islands have room for two cities. Not quite balanced. frown

Overall this is an awesome map but I definitely see the players complaining about this.

Yeah i realised this a couple of days ago. I messed up.

TT's move to settle treasure island isn't too awful, a couple of archers on the plains hill and it will be bloody hard to dislodge. Very susceptible to pillaging though so maybe people will realise this. It's a dream city in theory but i can't see it being more than a headache if people are sensible.

IIRC one of the players spotted a barb city on Treasure Island? Do I misremember?

What do people think about the long chat Cyneheard has had with Meatballz earlier on? I get the feeling that Meatballz has managed to pull the wool over the eyes of Cyneheard a bit, making him think there's worry over overextension onto the central island, and Cyneheard doesn't realise the deal Meatballz and Serdoa have over the iron, though that is of secondary importance as both Cyneheard and Serdoa seem to be gunning for Tatan at the moment.

I know Cyneheard is slightly pissed about missing Theo by 1 turn, but I'm not sure if he gives a damn about hte central island.
