[SPOILERS] ALWAYS PEACE? What will Lewwyn do?

Thanks.

So the week has passed Cyneheard is back and has passed me the turn and... dang, he got Judaism this turn. So I was essentially 2 turns behind based on turn order though really only one turn of research behind.

I'll finish Mono first, then go with... Meditation>Priesthood>Writing? I really want to get a temple up so that I can run a priest and get a shrine for Hinduism. Maybe I go Priest first. Thing is I need monasteries at some point so why not get it first and get a discount on priesthood.

I'm not sure really about when to switch my civics and religions. No chance of a GA anytime soon. I'm thinking I need to wait to switch to OR until after I get HR. I don't really need HR yet what with my horizontal expansion and whipping. I also already have 2 happy resources, which is fine right now.

So the question really will be my next tech. I need both but neither is really more pressing. The thing I'm focused on is growing like a family of rabbits.

My two newest cities both have their wheat/pigs improved now. Each city has an improved resource. I'm at 51 crop yield largest rival at 40. Pretty good even though I'm LAST in population! The whip is out! Beware the Whip!

T60 count:

6 cities
9 workers

By T70 I predict at least:
6 cities
2 settlers moving
10 workers

I don't think the settlers will be settled in place by the end of 70. And actually I think I may have 3 settlers moving by 70. By that point silver will be hooked up and being worked as well. One of the moving settlers will be settling the gems too.

I've decided on meditation>priest>writing>monarchy. At 100% I can tech medi and priest in 2 turns each and writing in 3 (though it'll probably be 2 with the priest req discount). Next turn I'll set gold to 0%.

I'm trying to weigh the benefits of switching religions now. I don't want to switch to OR yet because I want to switch to OR with HR. But if I still need to switch to my religion and the sooner I do it the less production I waste. I'm considering it next turn, but I think what I will end up doing is switching to Hinduism when I have the 2-3 settlers built and moving. In that case I will switch to Hinduism in 6-7 turns.

Just remember not to accidentally overexpand till you can only swap a single civic for 1-turn anarchy instead of 2... smile

Do you know the rules for that Profane? rego mentioned it in his PB4 thread but he gave specific numbers for those game settings.

Its a huge map on normal so if I'm correct in my calculations I can build up to 15 cities before that second turn of anarchy kicks in. Though I'm not sure if the values for some civics have changed from vanilla to BTS?

Today has been a huge blitz. I just sent off T68, we started the day on T61-2?

Life is pretty good. I did tech Medi>Priest at 2 turns each and I'm teching writing at 4-5 turns right now.

Things that annoyed me. Cynheard switched earlier to Judaism and then to OR. He got 4 free religion spreads so that 5 of 7 cities ahd religion. on his 5 the city getting religion I got my FIRST religion spread! Nakor also has 3 religion spreads which is ridiculous since he only has 4 well 5 cities now.

I have switched into Hinduism I switched last turn while 4! settlers were moving! This turn (t68) two settlers settled and 2 will settle next turn. Thus I have 8 cities to Cyneheards 7 atm. I still have top GNP as well given I'm teching writing with 3 prereqs smile

City overview:

The next two cities will be the PH in the south 1 tile North of the cows and the Gems site 1 East of the gems.

Notice in the north that silver is hooked up and I am working it. Plus that city is chopping out another worker. Wolves which was founded this turn got religion! yeah! It will get a terrace in 3 turns as 2 workers have already started to chop it out. They will then cottage and farm the rice once the borders pop.

I still have to switch into OR I debated whether to do that this turn or not. I probably should have now that I'm thinking about it. I won't need HR with all the happiness I already have, plus the gems plus the wines when I get monarchy. dang. Okay next turn I guess sucks though because I wouldn't have lost to 1 pop city turns of production.

I switched into OR this turn. Blah.

Cyneheard got Writing last turn. I'm 3-4 turns for writing. But I have 10 cities he has 7. jive

I'm definitely thinking about sniping some land from Cyneheard and Nakor.
