Well, unfortunately Pyramids fell
Oh, and Azza wars now with Hydra. Thats fine with me, he should have gone there right away imo.
I myself have carried on with building more cities, now at 8. And timed with the settling of the 8th city I also finished Hanging Gardens. Which of course skyrocketed my score - from ~540 to 639. The same happened to the demos
I think Hydra and Azza are probably not going to keep up, but that depends on the war a little bit. Harry on the other hand... well, I will have to think about how to deal with him. He is doing very good
And because it is funny (imo), the Top 5 Cities screen:
I promise a few more shots of my cities soon - sometimes when I don't have to rush to work.

So you're attacking Harry now with those forces? Why attack with axes rather than wait for cataphracts?

After checking, 2E of Umoja is a farm. There is a cottage planted 2NE of it though I do make another one as well as we speak.
As for the game, I declared on Harry this turn, moved up from the east and attacked from the west (his marble-city). Two screenies:
He had a Spear and Axe in his city. I had 3 Axes and 1 Spear on my boat. I got kinda lucky I think on the first fight as I lost my Axe but his Axe got down to 1.8 or some such. I had 9.9% chance to win this fight, despite attacking via boat, so I could expect at least some damage. With that much damage though, I could easily mob-up. 76% chance to win with the next axe against the spear (took me down to 3.2 health) and then 99% chance to win with my axe against his damaged one.
With the newly gained vision after razing the city I saw that there was nothing nearby he could have moved into the city, so I could as well have unloaded which would have been more cost-efficient. But I didn't want to give him time to move more troops into it. If he had done so I would not have been able to take it. So my rationale was that either I burn it this turn or I'd have to wait for my main attack force to come from the other side anyway. Better to take the chance to burn it - that also hurts the morale of your opponent Had that failed, it most certainly still would have made him keep troops in the outlying cities and not concentrate them in one place. That was the reason to build up those troops in the first place after all.
Anyway, in 2 turns those troops can attack two more cities, one I know is only defended by an archer right now. If he doesn't get more into that city, it will fall as well.
Main attack force. Another Axe and 2 Chariots join next turn, 5 more axes and 1 more spear are moving up one turn behind. A few more troops are being built, but the further away cities are building wealth now, so that I can start teching again. I will get Cataphracts and it won't take that much longer - but for this war, Axes and Catapults have will suffice.
