Planted 1st island city of DLC. Seriously whats up with the seemgly OP civs as DLCs? But the benefits were not the big since all my cities did not immediately use a trade route to DLC so some of the cities have +2,+1,+1 TR. It will improve when I throw down the other 2 island cities but cannot find a spot for the 4th one. Now I can clear currency in 1 turn at 100%.

Why is Auro putting so much EPs on me? Is he paranoid? He probably can see my research of HBR primarily though scientists but I been only investing in it as a hedge against Thoth. I really need courthouses badly. Strongly considering delaying Calendar until after I changed civics to HR+Vassal+Theocracy. Let's see how Thoth can handle 3 promo knights.

So Khan launched his GA and actually not surprised since his gpt was about 25 at 14 cities so his economy was not so good. 1 turned currency and now my economy should be picking up. Was going to chop out a market in capital but decided to chop out 2 settlers to backfill 2 cities near capital instead since i can afford to do so now

Planted 2 new cities:

Slowdown: After the last update, the AI takes so long to play its turns! There is enough time to go make a sandwhich waiting for my turn.
Barbarians: Generally you want them for the eurekas but what bothers me are that they spawn on T1 (not like 5 turns in civ4) so you have to ready defenses immediately, and that they can make horsemen out of thin air. WTF is that.

Khan threw his GA, Thoth did also. Khan has researched paper so I don't think he is knight rushing. Dunno what thoth will do, their powers are spiking. I am of course pursuing a different strategy. Will plant 2 cities next turn and whipped 2 more settlers on this turn. Did 1 turn COL but I think I need HA and cats before going to calendar.

Planted 2 more cities but now they are costing 10 gpt. Will settle cities 18 and 19 next turn but I think I have to unfortunately hold off on others

Late beelines: One of the things I like about civ6 is the eureka mechanic because it is very flavorful and encourages beelines. In the end game it kind of falls apart though. The most egregious example I see is that the eureka for robotics is the globalism civic but one of the civics towards that has a eureka of discovering nuclear fission, which is in the middle of the tech tree while robotics is on top.

Extra AI units: which at higher difficulties will use to wage war against you early. How can you survive a 3v1?!

Updated pictures in folder. Planted 2 more cities and thinking hard whether to stop for now or build 1 more before T100.

Policy Overload: There are way too many policies, especially economic ones, I think that are plainly false choices because they are weak. My main problem is that when there is a sufficient number policies, you have to scroll through them, which is definitely inferior than not having to scroll if you removed a lot of the bad ones. Also why isn't there an option to sort by wild card?
Asynchrous Update: I was not happy about the fact that updates, especially since there will be a patch coming soon, are not applied to simultaneously to Windows and OSX and Linux versions. But apparently it is much worse than I thought since cross-platform play altogether has been disabled for about 7 months now?! 2K/Firaxis hates OSX and linux players

Since this is supposed to be a casual game, maybe I should go the full Krill and just spam more settlers, but my poor economy... Courthouses cannot arrive soon enough.

Well Thoth showed his hand by adopting Vassalage at the end of his GA. 1 turned construction and HBR is next. I guess we will see if just spears and cats can do it.
