he could possibly double move workers to safer areas mostly.
Could double move warriors to kill my not-yet-promoted WC? idk.

Havent seen a power jump from archery yet. Which is weird, but ill take it. Chum got an equally lucky combat roll on my lone-wolf warrior. But i got to kill a full hp warrior instead of his injured one, which will have to move back into the city to heal.. and i think im going to start pressing hard. With the back-up WC's to cleanup if im left with a couple wounded warriors. IF archers start appearing in mass-whip... ill have to consider trying for peace? I would have really liked to have grabbed those workers.
I will be very tempted to take 50%+ kills soon.

Well he got an archer EoT.. That puts a real damper on my situation. He has 2 pop atm, so he can whip one this turn if he wants. If he doesnt get a 3rd archer in there b4 turn 50, i will be attacking with 3 full hp WC's, 1 4.something chariot, and a combat 1, melee/cover warrior. VS 2 archers, one will have 10-15% fortify.. other with 5-10%.. 1 combat 1 warrior, and a scout.
Question is, do i pull the trigger knowing that he most certaintly whips an archer after that attack goes ( there is something stupid like a 5% chance i get all those kills and get the cap ) or do i just sit on all his production tiles and force him to whip archers if he wants to have military? Im finishing writing in 3 turns, and have to decide on IW to just finish him.. or either hold him down/peace out and tech towards currency to not crash. PLUS since i didnt capture a single worker ( thanks combat luck ) im more or less forced to make my 2nd city a worker pump to compensate. I need roads, and a shit load of cottages. Im tied for first in food this turn though.. does that count for something?

I AM 110% EXCITED FOR NEXT TURN.
Why you might ask? Well, Chumchu made an error.. he decided to whip a workboat last turn. which puts him down to 1pop WHICH means he cannot get an archer EOT ( at least i really really really hope he didnt overflow some hammers into it or something.. ) So, i took my chances, my first full HP WC went in and did just about as well as you would expect at 12%ish odds. Knocked the full fortify archer down to 2.5, next WC went in and.. Killed one of the defending archers. So i sent in one of my other chariots and it died, then my next WC went in and... kicked the shit out of his warrior defender. Now, i used my warrior to try against the full hp scout and... it died at 57% odds, that would have been nice to get.. So now, i have a VERY damaged scout and a VERY damaged archer to kill next turn with 2 pending promos for 1 chariot, and the other chariot having 1 pending promo AND unlocking heroic epic for me.. Unless Chum gets an archer EOT, ( and having enough luck to not lose a 5% battle or two ) i will capture and knock him out next turn. Also got a great general out of it, which i settled as i dont really want to hold onto this first one for awhile for a better use.
Writing EOT, capital grows, a possible 4!!!! workers i can grab unless they are deleted.. Man, all i need now is some peace and quiet me thinks..

Yeah, something i wanted to happen about 3 turns ago, happened this time. I guess chumchu took the long-term choice, vs the chances that i could get a good hit in. I really hope he doesnt have whomever plays for him delete those workers, those will be VERY valuable.
BTW, Lurkers, even though you are spoiled... care to keep the game moving? LITERALLY only need this next turn for a 95%+ chance at not needing to cover him for the rest of the weekend.... Would help speed things along anyway.

Well... SOMEHOW he had enough overflow to complete an archer. Took my chances, and my first WC at 12% odds to KILL it, and like.. 7% odds to retreat, Retreated. Next WC showed 73%, and that was JUST enough for me to........................................................ Lose that chariot. Son of-a bitch. If i would have won that 73% i think i could have killed him off. As it stands, i have one .8hp combat 2 chariot vs 2 damaged archers, and a damaged scout.. Ive whipped my granary in my capital into a WC, and my 2nd city's worker into a WC.. Goal is to contain until swords + cats. Sigh. Still keeping up with the leaders, but not in a potential runaway situation.
Better luck next time.
After the safety WC's, im going to pump workers/settlers and get some of this sub-par land settled.

Started this turn by noticing that an archer + 4 workers had begun marching towards me. So, i moved the worker in the south to start a road to possibly help funnel WC's if it got to that point. Also whipped my 2nd city's worker as i need workers NOW. Overflow is currently going into a WC, but i might put it into a granary or library instead.
WC in capital is due in 2 turns, then ill be building a settler and going to try and recover from my mostly failed rush. Hopefully establish a tech lead, and then crush chum with cats+ something. Also going to scout and make sure that he doesnt have an easy source of copper other than this one. He has horses in his capital though, so i should expect chariots/HA's in the future from him. Sigh, i might just have to build 20 WC's ASAP after this next settler. Crush him, then go after another neighbor if i can support it?
Seems to take 2- 3 WC's per fully fortified archers in my tests.. My capital can produce ( once i get a barracks in there ) nearly 3 promo units. I still like my chances, but i need to not let Chum's revenge strike hurt as much as he will want it to. Luckily he isnt PRO or AGG, and i am CHA so my units will have an advantage there.
