I'm back to the States, and I should be able to play normally now. Adlain, I think you mentioned you were on vacation while you were playing somewhere, so I can play the turns from now on. Can you stay as a dedicated lurker though just in case?

My laptop has self-destructed. I currently have no idea what the problem is, but it causes horrendous graphical distortions that leave it completely useless. No idea when I'll have this fixed. I may be able to find a way to play my turns, but it will be erratic and at odd times.

Hey guys, I was reading a few of the other games that are being setup recently and realised we hadn't approach some of the issues they mentioned for the green's game (if my memory serves me correctly). Unfortunately I can only think of one of the thoughts that had occurred to me at the time regarding the gifting of units (for building the heroic epic) and cities. Should we go over these so that everybody is on the same page before they pop up in-game? Also what was the deal with spies and map trading/screenshots?

I was working under the following assumptions:
Map/Screenshot trading was fine.
No spies were to ever be built.
No building the heroic epic until you have raised a unit to 10xp yourself. (There are plenty of ways to cheese abuse this but i trust everyone to be sensible).
No temporary gifting of cities. Permanent gifting is fine.
As far as i can tell, these are the 'standard' RB rules with the possible exception of the screenshot trading one. However, i know screenshots have already been sent by some parties and could find no rule forbidding it. Seems silly to then enforce this now.

Here is a link to an old post with the settings, with the exception that we dropped off the no-score mod as we were starting. What you need to keep in mind when playing: You cannot built spies, you can't contact another player until you meet in-game, you are not allowed to trade maps, you're not allowed to build/use nukes or build the cristo credentor wonder.
I'd assume the map trading means sharing screenshots since these rules were absorbed from the veteran game and they can't contact eachother in-game to trade maps. Anyways, it's a bit unclear, so let's just play on with screenshot trading allowed since it's already been done.
