They finally attacked!!!!
So the dude that survived last turn gets promoted, and he & new dude fortify. If the rolls go poorly for them, they could be left attacking with the Warriors across the river, since they'll see I whipped for another Warrior.
Of course the longer that Cod distracts them, the higher chance they forget that I still have a Worker. Research set to 0% now that Hunting is in so that I'll have a large enough stash for an upgrade if the chance arises.
I also ran some sims of Warrior vs. Chariot to see whether it would be worth attacking out at the individual Chariot reinforcements. The average seemed to be 2-3 lost Warriors, which I figure is worth a punt given the results at Cod ... but the first Warrior dies without inflicting any damage, so turns out to have been a bad bet. Although at least it was decisive and I didn't end up losing any more.
