I use Steam for taking screenshots and the output is jpg. I can’t remember the default Steam screenshot hotkey, I re-mapped it at some point to a custom hotkey.

Do those two red mountains in the north indicate a city state up there?

No, red in the settler lens indicates a land tile you can't settle on, and mountains are always red because you can never settle on them.

Lovely UI Civ 6 has.
Red is indicated as "too close to a city" in the legend in Krill's screenshot.

I tend to keep my war close to home so you can go north or risk it and head west into the fog. Looks like you can move 2 spaces towards the citrus.
Crossing the river into the spot between the citrus and horses will give a good lay of the land there.

You can circle north around lake and see whats up that way then head back to escort settler (if that is next to build), this is assuming there is a way to circle around the lake.
or
Go out west a little more and have next unit after scout (slinger or warrior) scout south then east.
Barbs will probably start to show up soon since we saw that scout.
Potential city site, 2 east of horses which is a good spot, or 1 east of horses has a bit more risk with horses in the first borders.
I like to have my first couple cities close if i can just for easier defense and if i need to move builders around. Not sure what the scout will find when he ventures off.

If there's a city state nearby it'll be along the river to the west or NW of the lake, so either direction is good for the warrior.
2E of the horses is a bit better than 1E,imho, as that gets you a city center with 2 ![Icon_Production Icon_Production](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/Civ6Icons/Icon_Production.png) built in. However, food will be limiting until a builder does some farming. Any thoughts about 1NE of the horse?

Er, am I supposed to work both the citrus and rice to hit size 3 asap, then swap to the 1/3 tile, 2/2 from border pop and the citrus to build the settler? Or just slow grow to size 3?
