This pretty much sums up my pb44 experience.. lol
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Plan is to hold the city i took from chum, prevent him from getting metal.. then return with horse archers or something similar. ETA on chums death? 25-35 turns from now.

Popping a settler EOT, going to pick up about 15 forests+ silver + sheep. Going to turn that into a heavy military pump. Workers and 6xp units are on the way lurkers and ladies. Blood for the blood gods!

Been a little while since my last update:
Connecting all my cities via road soon, ( basically just the ex-Chum city ) finishing a sheep/road on my newest city, followed by mining the silver for the happy. There is a barb city that im going to be capturing hopefully in the next 10 turns or so. Speaking of 10turns, i just declared and offered peace to chum again.. as i want to be able to chop another forest on the border in peace, AND i hope to capture that barb city before i can be attacked again. Im roughly middle of the pack atm, and im hopeful that Chum's neighbor(s) didnt get more out of our war than i did.
Apparently some of my pics didnt save.. so here is what i have this turn.

Jumped in to confirm whether Chum had accepted the 10t peace or not.
ANNDD
Yes. He accepted. I am green-lit to go straight for that barb city + pump a settler out for the cow/wheat/copper site. Im liking how this is working out

Ok, so someone landed TGLH... which i had forgotten is stupid in base bts.. So many high score jumps this turn... i cant really tell who landed it. I havent seen any islands yet, so im hoping its not nearly as stupid as it could be.
Moving on-
Ive got another 8/8 xp WC, so thats fun. Going to be checking out that barb city and hopefully its still defended by warriors and not archers.. Im figuring to capture that in 3-5 turns, and plant the long-awaited copper/cow/wheat city another 2-3 turns after that.
Im likely going to expand to 6-7 cities, research currency-HBR and then finish off chum. He settled a city somewhere, i cant check if he has copper... so thats concerning. With Chum's land, i think ill have enough land to be competitive. With CHA+ FIN i should stand tall and research pretty fast. So thats good i guess?
Demos arent terrible for someone that failed a rush. 3rd in land, and workers being pumped out to catch up in the other areas.

Not doing the best, but the crop yield/production is starting to get where i want it to be.. GNP is kinda skewed thanks to whomever has TGHL. I didnt keep track on when this barb city was founded, so i will have to just keep it at 2 barb warriors till it grows. ( Chum has 2 archers headed that way )
Im closed off a bunch of land towards chum so far, and i hope to settle what looks to be an island and share that fish next to the barb city.
Going to have a settler out in 5-6 turns or so to settle the "future city" sign, going to chop a library to get border pop for all the resources, but it WILL be a nice city once that is done.
Basic plan is to get Math-HBR-kill Chum-Consolidate-(while teching to currency) then probably go for a knight beeline? I think i will have the production/tech power to get there before most so long as the chum war goes well.

Waiting on the barb city to grow, Chum moved one archer up to see into the barb city so it doesnt look like he will attempt to capture/be a pain. The other archer did fortify/heal in place so i expect a city coming from him soon. Good. The more resources he pours into other cities instead of a shitload of chariots to force me to whip/ect is fine by me. If i dont face an attack of some magnitude ( and he swapped to sailing instead of HBR ) soon from him, i will roll over what remains of him starting with his capital, in id guess... 20ish turns? Depends on if he can tech HBR at a decent rate. I have no issues whipping/chopping out a bunch of wc's/HA's to go grab his well improved cities. Maybe continue into another person to get gold to fuel teching into currency?
From the look of things, ivory is absent from the map. Probably a good thing as i could be making... 3? promo elephants from the capital rather easily. Would have been fun to run over a neighbor or two with 20 elephants tho, real Hannibal like.

Doing pretty well in demos
Barb city FINALLY grew, so ive added it to the empire. Peace treaty is currently up with OH/chum ( why did it have to be OH that is sub'n? ) Im strongly thinking about declaring next turn to get another 10t peace. Im looking at roughly 10t till i have HBR at which time i will be in full war mode to end the green menace. Considering OH will be piloting... im doubtful that i will make much headway, but with HA's vs archers... i hope to do something. CHA + barracks/stables HA's that is..
Missed that settler coming out EOT by 9 hammers. Oh well, 4t till i plant that next city then. Plenty of time to get workers roading towards the barb city and to move them into position to start chopping.
Also im assuming there is a conflict brewing elsewhere, lurker thread moved for the first time in ages and DZ/Alhazard both whipped away some serious population.
