Looks like Dtay will lose his main stack. It would seem like a pretty big mistake if TBS lets it live and promote.

I think he's counting on having taken out most of TBS's power at the same time, and being able to build considerably more reinforcements than TBS can.

Wow, Commodore has, basically, no army...

Not putting that additional 25th unit into Jetboy could be costly fot TBS. D'tay was able to bring down reinforcements and now he will be able to kill knights, that kill units on a hill, that killed units in a city.

Its still so interesting smile

Now that dtay has the capital, and just got a Great Artist... how tempting is it to bomb Jetboy for ~8 turns more of that delicious 103gpt?? Plus, if the bomb gets just a full 1st ring around jetboy (which seems likely but artists are wierd) that's a lot more security than he's got now. I know I'd be thinking about it.

Regarding Commodore, he's been so isolated geographically that he didn't need much... his high pop and tech are all it takes to dissuade ScooPin. I expect he'll be building a round of rifles here soon though.

Did you read PB8? People play these games to have fun first and foremost. Scoopin vs. Commodore has already been played and was decidedly unfun for both sides given the grueling nature of the conflict. They don't want to play it again. That's what dissuades Scoopin.

Yes, yes, I've heard it all. I'm still right :P

I don't know exactly whats going on, it has something to do w/ the war between mackoti and scooter. the whole thing doesn't make any sense to me, I guess global lurkers will have a better grasp of it.

FWIW, Brick, I don't think its kosher. I didn't think so when Dhalphuir gave a city to Azza, but it wasn't worth making a fuss as neither Dhal or Azza are relevant in this game anymore and its jut one more city for me to capture (eventually). This is different, I kind of feel like it violates the "don't be a dick" rule. I can't imagine TBS got enough to justify losing 3 cities in the deal so its probably spite motivated. and its making the game too easy for mackoti.
thats my 2 cents, maybe bring it up in the lurker thread for lurkers to discuss.

I think Mack's buying cities was legitimate within the game's rules as I understand them, but 300 does seem pretty darn cheap @ 100 gold per island city. That said, selling those cities was honestly a pretty good move for TBS, who needs the money and troops freed up, and Pindicooter complaining about cities being easily surrendered is rich rolleye
