Or they can luck out.
Quote:The city of Silver Moon is undefended, when our Galley can land troops into it in one turn. Captured and razed
Heh, poor Sian. I wonder if Luddite/Pindicator will be miffed at losing a prize.

Sian has no one to blame for that one. However the razing of Sailor Moon could be a big step in keeping Ludicator out of war with Yuri. Might be an unintended benefit for them.

Mackoti will open the save and see: - peace offer if he pays Nospace 50g
- They have SciMeth
- Liberalism is in the bag for them
- No Space is not in slavery or nationalism!
...oh, and he just got Astronomy. Why should he sign peace?
NoSpace is still playing like Mack is AI. I expect a counteroffer for something like a small city and all NoSpace's gold.

Well, shows what i know. Mackoti took the peace deal with NS7 and has declared on Luddicator. The latter's game just took a dramatic reversal of fortunes.
...lets see if Robert E Lee can hold off ~25 knights on his lonesome.
Edit: Game Over:

Welp, that officially throws the game to NS7 I believe, and Mack get's his revenge for PB4.

Yep, that's game. Over-under on how long it takes everyone to realize this?

Well, based on

107: Rep, Bur, Caste, SP, FR
112: Rep, Bur, Slavery, SP, OR
Kremlin finishes t113, and we still have 3 full turns of slavery (plus t117 when we can whip before swapping).
On t117 we'll probably swap to Rep, Nat, Caste, SP, Theo
I'm saying turn 117.

I chatted with mack a bit last night and he said basically that he did it because he can't win, so thought he might get a little revenge on luddite. Man knows how to hold a grudge.
But when 2nd place already believes they can't win, the game is definitely over. I'd guess the concession won't come for a bit - there's a lot of unresolved issues among the other players.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Yeah - what else could he do? I think it was clear that if he had tried to press into NS7 lands his stack would have gotten slaughtered.

Besides, he would have no guarantee that his other flank was safe, like he does now (for 10 turns). By attacking Luddicator he might be able to extract some concessions before his knights go obsolete, and come out in a stronger position. Implying that Mackoti is throwing the game with this move is both unfair and wildly inaccurate in my opinion. (Not that I think he will actually be able to catch up.)
If you know what I mean.
