I could have sworn that I had taken pictures of the battlezone on T87.
On the plus side, I did get demographics.
I expect that Maniac is putting his money into Choppers at this point, so our own tech is towards the tech that gives the anti-vanguard promotion. It also gives precision (target weakest unit) which is a nasty thing to have on a siege tank. Dunno if they can take it though.

Reports from the front.
He boated Logos (Got lucky with a 50/50 chopper battle and then used 2 more choppers to clear the fortified Genite) and has been pillaging for gold. But not spending it. I got lucky with a chopper and won a 50% battle. I'll push it again next turn if he doesn't abandon (67% chance or something like that, I'll be up a combat promo, worth it for a chance to reclaim the city).
Training a gunboat in the south to reestablish sea superiority. We caught a lucky break in that one of his gunboats got eaten by an isle, which we cleaned up for our 5th XP point.
On the sea, with his gunboats gone, I'm bringing back our fleet of transport foils. The goal is to pick up the new production from our inner core and redeploy it into his capital if we succeed in taking it. Right now, I think we're both approaching this with a decapitation strategy, harass around the edges and try to bring overwhelming forces against the other's capital.
I like our odds though, because we can 1-turn Genites in the capital, which can straight up overpower choppers and siege tanks.
Note: I made that sound all very optimistic, but I honestly have no idea if we've brought enough stuff to pull this off. Just got to go with it. Also, he had enough gunboats that I couldn't feasibly boat in the genites, so they all took APC instead and are rolling along with the Tanks and Choppers.
Demographics:
Heck yeah #1 Power and MFG, and that's with MFG not counting the capital's +20% for units since it's 1-turning everything...

Aiming for a capital knockout.
Waiting for warturns in PBEMs is hell.

The view upon opening the save. He's withdrawn his 4 tanks and moved his choppers into observational positions. He's also evacuated Logos, and his cargo foil ended turn next to our 4 empty cargo foils headed to pick up more troops (none of these units can fight, else I'd just throw two cargo foils at it to trade 43 hammers for 20 of ours).
I retook Logos with our Guerrilla I, C2 chopper. If he tries to push in with his choppers, we can cut them off and cut them to pieces I think.
If he wants to threaten our cities he'll need to run into the fungus and risk worms. I also brought in a gun foil so that if he doesn't run into the fungus, we should be in good position to chase to kill.
I don't know if it's enough. We'll see what the damage is like after a turn of bunker bombardment. Our siege tanks can take the promo that lets them bombard city defenses as well. I have no idea as to what the numbers will be to bomb out the bunker, but with 11 tanks and 8 hitters (6 genites and 2 choppers) we can probably do quite a bit.
If he can give those 2 choppers of his precision and be able to snipe out our tanks from behind the genites then we'll probably have to take our shot on the next turn. If he can't, we might be able to profitably spend a turn on bombardment before blowing the whistle to go over the top. Curiously, he didn't put a unit on the DNA tile, so we occupied it. It gives +50% terrain defense, and another +20% from height. Put another way, our Genites are HARD right now, even with bombardment available to him from the Bunker (and we've got a medic in the tile, so even then the Genites are going to bounce back pretty fast). If he had taken that tile with the Impact Trooper and Flamethrower squad that he's walking out on the other side of his base, we would have probably been forced onto the fungus tile, which only gives +50% defense and no height bonus, which may have been decisive.

irony: both Maniac and I are very eager to claim that we're both losing the war. Which I suppose is technically true since Iskender and Sian have gotten free expansion AIs to swing into and Mardoc is uncontested on the high seas...

Test game show that each Siege Tank w/ the Bombard promotion takes off a straight 10% with each shot. So 5 of the siege tanks can reduce natural defenses to nil on T91, and based on what he does with his units, 6 tanks, 6 genites, and 2 choppers could be enough to straight up take the base.

Have turn, he abandoned the city.
Concordant wants to vote to stop the war. I think we get one vote (out of 6) and it needs 3 to pass. Soneone is being clever.
When would the resolution resolve? Can I take Maniac's city and peace is enforced before he can try to boat my own? (I assume all his units are on boats right now to try and hit consensus).
He'll be able to apply 2 choppers, 1 siege tank, +1-4 units from boats against consensus guarded by 2 genites and an impact trooper that finishes at EoT.
How badly does saying "never" mess us up if we get outvoted?
If the war continues, I'm very bullish on our chances to shut Maniac down entirely, as his production core is open to our stack while our bases continue to churn units.
Nicolae, thoughts?

Minus a ton of happy in all cities . Vote No. But we can afford to lose Consensus better than he can afford to lose his capital.
But how many cargo foils does he have anyway?
