True. It just sucks that I "lost" this game by turn 65. If I have to lose, shouldn't I at least lose at the hands of murderous Impis, instead of Argentinian archers?

It's worth noting that I got the first-to-meet envoy from Cardiff, Cahokia, and Buenos Aires. My exploration strategy is probably one of the most successful in the game, even if I haven't properly mapped out my southern flank yet.

I wasn't "pillage farming" Argentina (though I did intentionally take advantage of gold plundering as much as I could).

Nobody is going to "prosecute" you here, but what you did was technically against the established rules for this game:

-No pillaging City-State tiles except for farms and fishing boats.

Easy thing to forget, it happens. As long as it doesn't happen again there's no problem.
