Gah, I'm a wussy medic! I'm not improving in the way of the sword this way. I need more blood, not ascetic exercises.
Hey, no complaining! You are at least apparently somewhere near the action
Nice going, ironstar- and happy birthday!
Thanks guys
Holy crap, European winners finally! What a rollercoaster season... But seriously after all the recent years heartbreak (Uefalona, Moscow etc.) to win it this year, in this lousy season, and on my birthday even. There's gotta be such thing as divine intervention or universal justice. I agree that Cech saved us, like he has done time and time again. He even went the right way on every single penalty kick. That man is massive for the club. Happy birthday indeed :2dance:
Happy birthday! (I'll go for Cole as man of the match personally, but he, Cech, Drogba, and Mikel were all immense)
And there is something sublimely ridiculous about winning it the one year we're the worst team in the semis, after all the different ways we fell short when we were better.
Happy Birthday! said Compromise
Ahh so, said Ito, as he contemplated the next dutiful step on the path of honor.
Boss is a spurs fan, so not that happy right now.
I am a Liverpool fan, so not that happy all season!
T35: (Inherited Turn) The awakening
Ito awoke from his dream at the same moment the cherry blossom fell to the ground. His katana drawn, dripping with the blood of the enemy. Who was he? What had happened? All around were ruins. And comrades. And a group of shivering, terrified peasants who pledged their efforts to the cause of the so-called "Fishermen." Ito was simply happy to find that his blade still held a sharp edge. Very sharp. Bobiro-san. What to do about Bobiro-san. Lost in the north country, he was of little value to anyone alone. Toward Thebes he was sent. This new mission gave him Morale and swiftness of foot. Jkaenmaki-san. Discipline is the root of all success. Drill II for you. A cowardly warrior in the capital is sent forth to gain wisdom and experience. It is decided that captured peasants will be put to use providing roads for swift transport of the samurai. T36: A time for healing Bobiro-san moves toward Thebes with visions of dancing steel. Fusajironstar-san is horrified at the thought of waiting before testing his sword again and learns the ways of the Medic to more quickly re-enter the fray. His companion takes out some aggression on a small hamlet and sends the proceeds back home to the clay-workers for their Pottery research efforts. T37: A moment to sharpen the blade. More healing. More road-work. Restlessness grows. T38: Enough rest! The march on Thebes begins...without Bobiro-san. The fine technique of turning clay into Pottery is perfected. Now, we envision a Great Wall to protect the peaceful Villagers, but we must learn how to stack stone. Masonry. Bobiro-san tests his blade on a wandering madman (barb warrior). T39: Movement More roadwork near the Eyptian ruins. The slayers of the so called "Burger" king begin the march toward the despicable Ottomans. T40: Finally...Blood Assault on Thebes. Thestikazi-san leads the charge. And at 93.8%...succeeds. But is severely wounded (2.9/8.0 without a promotion) in the effort. He groans. Fusajironstar picks off a cowardly Egyptian archer trying to flee Thebes (and threatening the road crew). His skill is such that he is hardly scratched. His speed is such that he is able to return to the assault square to assist the wounded Thestikazi-san. Bobiro-san strikes down an aimless mercenary. T41: Beware the whip Zara and Kublai enter Slavery. Thestikazi-san can but watch as Fusajironstar continues the assault on Thebes. At 89.7%, he...wins. Barely. Down to 1.2/8 health. A check of the combat log shows that a single additional strike would have cut down our most brave and helpful samurai. Jkaenmaki-san first spots the pathetic expeditionary force of "Willem van Oranje" near the Turkish homeland. His intentions being less than honorable, his name is of little interest to us. Nearby, Ito relieves a scout of his duties. T42: Denied by the bay Fusajironstar-san can barely speak, but he urges caution on Thestikazi-san. No...save your strength...20.5% are too low odds, even for the last remaining Egyptian defender. Both bide their time. And listen. And hear the crazed cries of a madman from across the bay. Bobiro-san has struck down yet another itinerant warrior, but has also discovered that he simply cannot get to Thebes. He is so frustrated that he forgets to work on his skill set.... For now, at least. Meanwhile, in the Turkish frontier, Jkaenmaki-san sends a clear lesson to Willem and dispatches his archer. Ito approaches too, having steeled himself with discipline (Drill II). Without morale, Sareln-san and Hon'iden-san drag themselves slowly toward the Ottoman stronghold. After the bloodletting soon to be unleashed by Ito and Jkaenmaki-san, will they be too late to earn honor? The situation: Egyptian Front: Turkish Front: The Save: As he settles back into his meditative preparation, Ito has one last thought before becoming one with the void: Why didn't I switch us to Slavery.....
