sweet, after playing with it a bit I got it working!
man, the Zulu yellow shield with the French blue looks fully fuckin sick. scout plan is to scout counter clockwise, starting from the 7 oclock position and circling up to 12, rather than trying to immediately maximize the most land tiles revealed per turn; not only do I like having as close to a 360 view surrounding my capital to better plan my dotmap, especially with fishing backfill considered, I don't want my neighbors to know that they're next to the Zulu too early...

Pork, Clam and corn.
I think you should go with a Louisiana BBQ theme.

T3.
Hmmm, some good stuff... gems + silver makes me wish I was industrious. That silver + fish spot would be a nice 4th city, while 1E of the sheep could share the capital's pigs, a nice 2nd city, especially if I go settler at 2. I think I should go... NW->SW next?
Forgot to rename capital, it will have to wait till T4!

Have you already identified two other spots that would be better than the Silver/Fish spot? I'm just curious as to why you specify it being good as a fourth spot specifically.

Ah, I say a fourth city because it is a good, close spot but it needs a border pop and is definitely backfill, being on the coast like that. I'll want my third city to be very productive very quickly, hopefully grabbing food+copper first ring.
