OK so about Adlain. I will give you freebie and let you know this. He has just finished Feudalism tech. He has protective longbows. That means this is very bad time to attack. If everyone fight with horse archer and catapult against longbows then they get crushed. What you would need to fight longbows is knights. Knight ignore first strike and that is key against protective longbow. Also have strength 10. So if anyone planning on fighting Adlain they should wait until later. We can talk more on this a little later in game. Just keep in back of mind...

Also on that note I will still send you screenshot of everyone's techs for 50g. Offer is still on table. I have not offer to anyone else so you guys should feel lucky. :D

Over here there is not to much going on. We are trying to keep pace with new cities. No news is good I guess LOL.

Also apparently WK no longer wanted his city near our borders, and asked Adlain to auto-raze it. Not sure what was going on there but it's annoying that we a) did WK a favor, b) did not get the workers from it, and c) he chopped like 2-3 forests that we could have used in our city. Talk about a lose-lose-lose frown

The thing is too that I don't really care. I mean I mildly care, but I have not been an NBA fan since I actually lived in Cleveland (in the Brad Daugherty / Mark Price era).

You could probably twist the knife much more about "The Shot" (or "The Drive" or "The Fumble") than I care about "The Decision" lol

We're up to +66 gpt at breakeven gold. We were at +64 last night but mackoti and nakor both founded cities while I slept, raising our gold by 2 lol At our current levels we have one non-foreign trade route. We did manage to defog a trade route to luddite, so that's helping.

What we really need is to figure out what we're teching next. We've been saving gold for awhile, and are up to 493 gold.

Some of our options:

* Code of Laws. Most folks have this so we get a decent known civs bonus - we could do this at 2 turns of 60% research, costing us 250g. We're also starting to lose graphs as everyone builds courthouses and spreads out the EP left.
* Compass - this sounds weird I know but an Expansive harbor (40h) would gain us 4g in every city. Almost all of our foreign trade routes are 1 base * (25% capital connection + 150% sustained peace, or 2.75 (rounded down to 2. If we got a 50% harbor in there, it would go up to 3.25, or 3. Would cost us about 375 of our gold and 3t.
* Feudalism - vassalage would give us 2 promo longbows and save about 12g in expenses. Would cost us all our gold and take 8t
* Aesthetics, on the way to Drama and/or Literature. We could start on our Globe Theater or National Epic (the former in Delta and the latter in our to be founded eventual National Park city). The Music artist was just taken by luddite. Aesthetics takes 2t and about 280 gold.
