PBEMs 1, 3 and 7 have all finished, would it make sense to archive them now?
Current games (All): RtR: PB80 Civ 6: PBEM23
Ended games (Selection): BTS games: PB1, PB3, PBEM2, PBEM4, PBEM5B, PBEM50. RB mod games: PB5, PB15, PB27, PB37, PB42, PB46, PB71. FFH games: PBEMVII, PBEMXII. Civ 6: PBEM22 Games ded lurked: PB18

What would be the purpose for archiving a sub forum?

Well, the PB1, PB2 and PB3 sub fora all got archived.
Wait, maybe I'm describing this wrong. All of the finished PB games got placed into a new "archive" forum, Completed Pitboss Games, in the Pitboss subforum. Would it not make sense to do the same to the PBEM subforum, to keep it tidy? The other issue is that with lots of fora that don;t have posts in them, the place looks dead to visitors.

I see, I thought you meant to backup the data on the server and make them invisible on the forum.

Not sure why the subs are still showing after the archive, and I see the same thing with PitBoss when Gris did it. Maybe we are digging too deep into the tree.
I wonder what would happen if I delete the ones showing unwanted, if it will delete the archived ones too. Are we willing to risk losing one PBEM for testing?

Er, no, not worth risking a PBEM fora for that, IMO. Would it be worth creating a fake PBEM14 or PB5 and trying to archive that? FWIW, we still want to read those fora (valuble information in them), just wondering if it is worth tidying up now rather than later.
