I thought of that exactly 23 seconds after moving in! Argh! That's why I'll probably never get to be a real life military commander. Usually, "I thought about that after" doesn't justify an entire war very well!

Well, it was a good turn for the Russians today! As expected from the end of last turn, Code of Laws came in! Woot!
The question, of course, was would someone else beat me and/or Oracle CoL (especially Krill who is making the run for monopoly religion again it seems.
Even better, the very first turn I had confucianism--even before I had been able to move my free missionary--I got a free spread to the capital, no less!!!
And then, upon hitting end turn, Marie Claire was born! Woot!
Last turn I founded city four and I will be founding city 2 in two more turns. Settler is enroute.
My goal right now is to get to Monotheism for the production bonus. My longer term tech goal is to go for the new Russia UB that replaces teh University.
TT is Agg/Chm, for those who didn't realize, so I need to keep units ready to prevent him from attacking, especially now that we have border conflict!

You can check whether you founded the religion at EOT the previous turn, since the research actually happens then.

Yep, in PBEM everything is determined at EoT... Re-play last turn and hit enter, you'll see the Confucian holy city show up in McCully.
How do the demos looks? Nice work on landing Confucianism.

Yeah, I actually knew it already had been landed, I just thought showing the splash screen made it more exciting than showing the little notification.

I'll try to post a demo screenshot next. I think I'm pretty much at teh top of GNP and middle of the pack on Food and MFG. Depends a lot on what tiles I work too. I took some hits on food/MFG while I was working those two scientists.

Demos as promised:
This is at 100% science which a fair bit of known tech bonus (working on mysticism). However, the rest looks good too. The only thing I'm not happy about is the low military strength. Chrouser is going to be on military duty for the next little while to rectify that.
EDIT: Well, that MFG is not great either. It's because I had misplanned my workers for Chrouser. It should be working two more mines.

Did something unusual happen to one of your cities recently? Maybe you lost one?

@T-hawk: I think the pointer is probably not null because it's pointing to a city owned by someone else (the guy who captured dazed's city) now. Although I don't see why it would return someone else's city since the function's called on the current player.
