So, one of my friends from the mafia scene over at CFC/TW fora just showed me a new game there are setting up. They currently have 75 players, but are expecting to get 100 total, but there is no upper limit. I'll be playing in it, and I said I'd advertise the game over here as well because I know there are a few mafia players here. FWIW, they are solid guys and I've played with them qiute a lot. A fair amount of the players also host the Night of the Werewolves mafia games over at CFC, if you wanted to have a look around there as well.
The estimate is 2-3 months for the game to play out.

How do you even keep track of posts in a 100 player game?

By, very simply, being good, and having lots of experience. RB is incredibly old fashioned and simplistic in the way it runs mafia games.

I got the impression that townies could also communicate out-of-thread in your setup. Correct?

I think I'm gonna take a pass. With that many people I just see a big shouting match for the first month at least. I mean if you really want to play and do it well you HAVE to be active. And I have no desire to read and post to that extent. Not to mention all of the private messaging and conferences.

Sounds interesting though probably I won't have time. Anyway, I'm wondering, there are only around 900 posts in the Mafia X thread over there which had 36 players. We had 1450 with only 16 players in WW6. Not sure if there is a post-limit or anything in their games. If not I really don't understand that low amount of postings.
