I'm really not having much luck with National Wonders (or at all).

First I lose a city that has the 6th theater and 6th bank, interrupting my progress on the Globe Theater and Wall Street. I whip out another theater and bank, finally completing Globe Theater.

Oh, on the inter-turn (Before I can even use it), I lose the city (T-hawk). Then with Wall Street 1t from completion, on the interturn, I lose ANOTHER city with a bank.

Oh and I lost another 73% Frigate vs. EI battle

Shoot didn't attack at Ilios, instead deciding to bombard, which I think was a mistake. I could be wrong though.

I think that it would have been bloody but he'd have taken the city with minimal losses.

Though I guess that Shoot has reason to be cautious when attacking me

I had 6 rifles and a MG in a 60% city vs. his 3 cats, 18 rifles and a Janissary

That would be the guess, though I haven't seen the save. It's certainly likely and I'm expecting it.

Tataningrad - razed by dave (correctly, instead of capturing it like he did last time)
sunrise089 - a stack of 10 rifles 2 jans and 9 cats all but certain to capture it next turn

Then we get into the likelies
SevenSpirits - likely to die to darrell's transport / destroyer stack
Commodore - or maybe darrell will go here

I currently have 4, but have lost a few in battles already and will have more whipped out at EOT
