Yeah...as it was, the GM disappeared this turn, so either it got deleted or he used it for a trade mission in my border city. It's size 14, so not a bad choice, and he didn't scout me out with it, so meh, I'm happy.

Hey SL, I got a pic dump for you, but probably not the game you're interested in...

I need 3 city names, and just don't ask what I'm doing in Machu Picchu, but I have no idea. Should have worked the grass hill for the past 2 turns. And Okanto should be working straight coasts to grow. Building 3 wonders atm (though really, someone should have finished MoM by now surely?) I got Christianity and I'm building the AP, as it shouldn't obsolete for a while and I think I'm going to be fairly hammer poor, making Monasteries and temples a decent investment etc. HS is just a straight forward culture push, should finish eot T108, unless I get the two forests that TT has control over, which would shave 2 turns off the build time to finish eot T106 with 1 chop, 3 turns off if I used both to T105. The aquaduct in Waitakere is for a HG build, that'd finish T104, simply because it seems a bit dumb to let someone else build it now. Really should have built it a dozen turns ago.

I just teched MC in 1 turn, at about 500 base bpt. Breakeven is 210ish bpt depending on individual city MM. I have enough overflow off MC to tech Machinery in 1 turn, or to get to Aesthetics, Lit and Paper researched on T101, 102 and 103 respectively without saving any more gold. After that the aims are probably the straight forward Machinery, Guilds, HBR, Construction and Engineering. Or Philo and DR if I decide to get 6 of the religions to screw over everyone else, and use the capital as a GP pump, build UoS and Spiral Minaret. That depends on yuris' power graph, IMO.

First off: I'm a noob in reading the graphs, BUT: What on earth happened to mh's culture score in that screendump, did he switch to 100% on the slider?

mh can up to Music via Lit, he built the GL. yuris, got no idea what he is doing, TT and Dazed are fighting a hot war (a GG has been born). FWIW, that crop yield graph shows what happens when you don't whip. I wonder if anyone has ever done a cost/benefit analysis for sticking to size 6ish via whipping and just growing straight up working Fin coast, Fin cottages, or Non-FIN cottages.

Somethng that I'm not sure you guys know: mh has planted a city over the lake. And he culture bombed it. I know this because of:

  1. One of the cities in the top 5 is very small and very young
  2. It's not on "this" side of the sea because I've scouted it all out (with and without OB) and can't see it.
  3. Culture graph shows a typical culture bomb.

You know, this is probably going to be interesting. Someone is going to go to war shortly and I might not be the target. Of course, it's about 6K beakers from knights to cuirs, so medi warfare isn't exactly the most unattractive option anymore depending on power levels.

Well, that was unexpected. First time I've actually completed that wonder at RB in one of my own games, I think? And I only built it for fail gold. Well, I'll take that outcome.

The whip nerf feels like a stealth buff to Financial coasts, as before you could turn junk tiles into production. Now that this is no longer a reasonable option, you better have a good tile or specialist slot, and FIN coast hits the spot.
