As a heads up, this game just finished today, taking a grand total of 10 weeks to play. There was a game master swap over due to RL events, but the game managed to carry on, with the 117 starting players, with one or two additions in the early days, being whittled down to only 14 remaining players. I know one or two people have been following along, reading the updates, and now the private quicktopics have been released for everyones perusal.

The Capo di tuti capo, boss of all bosses, the #1 winner out of this game was Askthepizzaguy, who managed to wrap enough people around his little finger to control most of the game.

Yeah, this game was a bit meh to me, from the start it was a one guys game, I dont get why everyone told him everything about their characters. And when he showed everyone he was immune to being lynched, the game died to me. But I guess it was more interesting from your side.

It's not really fair to consider capo as a mafia game, because it isn't: This post explains it quite well IMO. It has a completely different metagame because the victory conditions are different. The aim is to either become capo or support someone else to become capo whilst you create the strongest family. It's not to weed out every mafia in the game and win as the town.
Promotion is the name of the game, because promotion up the townie side means you can win even if the town loses, and you are useful to everyone so with a bit of give and take you won't get killed, and get a better VC.

I went from townie to wise guy to Made in the Pentagili family. I think I was the 3rd or 4th family member. Joined Sasaki on the first day and never looked back. Near the end before my death I tried to get permission to kill Krill. Told Sasaki that Krill was probably working his way with Pizza from the beginning because that's the type of person he is. Looks like I was spot on. :neenernee

Reputations :b:
fwiw, I didn't ask for permission to kill you. I just said it would be a good idea and it happened.
Mafia, it's the good life.
