[SPOILERS] Don't mention the war

NobleHelium Wrote:18 Hindu cities sounds pretty amazing on this map. You're #2 in GNP despite not having tech on. #1 is probably Serdoa with all his wonder culture? And obviously you got dogpiled, etc. Great signs.

Yeah. I'm pretty happy how things are going. I think WK was #1 in this particular turn. Serdoa's GNP despite of being buffed by high culture hasn't been that worrying yet. Also I've fair amount of culture in my GNP.

MFG and crop yield are lower than I'd like to see I think I've gone a bit overboard with the usage of whip lately.

Rome finished MoM and WK got Philo+Taoism. Too bad Taoism was founded near my borders.

Eh, I don't think that location matters much. I doubt you'll lose any tiles.

Need to rename that new city there. wink

Finally I've everyones graphs. WK is dominating a bit whereas TMIT is slightly behind others.

WK is generating over 200 gpt at the moment. He is probably building quite a bit of wealth.

What's up with WK's power? Any rumblings about anything he's planning? Or is that mostly just pop and tech?

Not sure. That is one of the reasons I'm building some longbows despite of my NAPs. He has at least HBR and probably construction. When I mapped his territory he had a smallish stack of spears in one of his border cities, but I've feeling they were mainly happy polices.

Not much to report. I'm not really utilising Caste+Pacifism as I should since I whipped too much before converting and I feel I need to grow more than run spcialists. However Caste has been very useful for runnign Artists in border cities. Next turn I convert to Bureacracy, slavery and OR. My capital is not that strong, but Bureacracy is still economically stronger option than Vassalage. Moving capital to Felix Leca might be an option. however I think I'll be preferring Free Speech over Bureacracy pretty soon so I think I won't bother to do that.

Metal Cating is next and then it is desicion time. Should I go for Liberalism or Guilds. If Guilds, I'll probably take HBR 1st and prebuild some HAs. I'll be using civis to get them double promoted so only the strongest production cities will be getting stables.

Played the turn in a hurry and images are on other computer so just a small vocal report. I converted to Bureacracy-Slavery-OR and finished Metal Casting. I'll start Forges in pretty much every city next turn. I haven't paid much attention what others are doing lately. It seems TMIT is building some militry and despite of my Longbows I'm still a bit behind WK in power. However I'm now #1 in crop yield. It might be time for another big whipping round so that my demographics don't look too good wink.

Next tech is still under consideratin and I need at least 1T of of collecting gold. It might be HBR after all. In case I'm heading to war Liberalism might be out of a question and therefore Paper could be pretty useless.
