As promised, here is the Extreme Adventure, only it's actually Epic Ten. Enjoy!

Very interesting. I had expected an Extreme ADVENTURE rather than an Epic, and was dissapointed initially since I figured I was now going to be knocked out of playing an Epic rather than a shorter adventure. Upon reading the rules however, I think I'll give this one a go. I don't expect for a second to be able to win, but maybe, just maybe, I can hold out to 2050AD.

Clarification however: since only conquest in enabled, will the game still end in 2050? Or would the game continue, but our Epic progress will be cut off?

Well I will have to pass on this one. It is going to require a serious commitment of time that my 48 hour weeks won't allow. I am still struggling to finish Adv17 in time.

The game will continue right past 2050 if time victory is turned off. We did this in Epic Four, with some players going into the 22nd century.

Time is turned off, so that players can continue past 2050AD if desired. However, for the purposes of scoring, 2050 will be considered the ending date. Just surviving until 2050 will be considered a "small" victory, with those who manage to complete a Conquest win before that time taking home the "big" victory.

You may be surprised - the game's open for five weeks, and it's only a Small map. The feedback for Epic Four had a pretty wide consensus that it was a great concept, with a bit too much tedium at the end. I've tried to adjust accordingly for this event, but only time will tell if that effort will succeed. I hope players won't go into this event assuming that they won't finish, however!
