Game is on halt almost 2 days now. Apparently Mackoti is thinking what to do. Serdoa is in full military mode and I'm sure Mackoti is very tempted to accept Serdoa's deal. I hope he keeps his word and doesn't take the deal.

We've had some chats concerning what to do. WK has been in the loop too. I made a silly mistake sending my WK emails accidentally to Mackoti (forwarded a message containing them). Everything there was pretty innocent. However it might be that Mackoti feels our bond a bit weaker after seeing that I've had quite good relationship with WK.

At the end of my turn T120 begun. We should declare war this turn and occupy some hill tiles from Serdoa's territory. We'll be mainly passive in the beginning trying to gather info concerning the troop positioning of Serdoa. He has 1 big weakness i.e. no mounted units.

At least two of Serdoa's cities can be attacked from within our border with mounted units...any chance of taking them immediately or do we not have enough 2-movers?

We have only 1 HA. I've prebuilt HAs, but not finished them yet. They're waiting for MilTra that arrives in 2T. Serdoa has spread his troops around there is definately a chance to to try to hit e.g. Hadrumetum with slow moving stack. He has difficulties in reinforcing it in time especially, if we could cut the roads leading there.

There is. TMIT just kept the save for almost 2 days so nothing much has happened for a few days. Here we go.

T120

Surprisingly Serdoa moved in from my borders with 2 stacks. I also heard from WK there is a stack in Mackoti's territory: "I moved my chariot into Richard Nixon and spotted 7 musket's, 7 maces and 8 cats". Not very good play from Serdoa splitting his troops to so many places. This will surely make the war quicker to end.

Profeto stack will be easy to handle. I've 3 cats + sufficient units to kill it. I start the turn from there while trying to keep units closest to Pindildo out of fight as long as possible.

3 cats promoted Barrage line go in 1st. They all die, but situation looks like this afterwards:

Then Maces+Muskets go in starting from units furthest away from Pindildo until Lbows start to get good odds and I switch to them. Lastly Dog soldier was used to finish almost dead unit. In the end losing 1 Guerilla II LBow. There is 1 worker in the pig tile so I finish things via capturing and dispanding it with a dog soldier. Hadrumetum itself has just an axeman, but there are 4 cats + 1 Musket near it revealed by the Dog soldier. I wish I would have finished some of those HA builds. It would be very easy to grab Hadrumetum now.

Close to Pindildo Serdoa has 6 cats + 11 other units. It has a wounded Musketman from killing my Guerrilla II Lbow. Draft is the obvious 1st action. Then moving everything in range inside and I get more than 11 units there so it shouldn't fall. I also move spare units towards it. Unless he brings a lot of units next turn I should be able to hold it. I decided to build also walls so that he needs to make a very expensive attack over the river against walled city or alternatively delay things to get those walls down.

In the south. I move in a LBow and see this in Kerkouane:

Nothing too worrying.

You can make the event box wider too, not just taller, so that you can show more lines per vertical space. You'll need to use your scroll wheel to make the rest of the items appear though because it's bugged and the scroll bar can disappear if you don't trigger the loading of the rest of the events first by scrolling past the initially loaded events.

So after opening the save Pindildo had only 1 wounded spear in it. That means Serdoa had won all of his non-siege unit fights. Luckily he had also lost all his siege units so that is ok. I reinforced the city and it isn't falling without collateral. MilTra is ready and I'l be getting several Cuirassiers in coming turns.

Mackoti has Oxford Uni now in his capiall. I'm few turns behind. My capital just isn't as good as his and he is running Bureacracy so he will be gaining quite a bit over me in there.

Serdoa retreated - wise move. I'm #1 in power now. Serdoa, Mackoti and WK are not far behind.

Taking a break from drafting i.e. converted to Free Speech that bloats my GNP. Finally researching towards Calendar.
