Killing as in eliminating, sending their score to zero, you have (or someone else who you bribed into battle has) captured / razed their last city. It includes wars that are triggered because of defensive pacts.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

i'm addicted to OCC beeline-to-the-UN diplomatic victory games. i always vote for my opponent in those, it makes me giggle and i have neglible votes anyway. this is only prince, but it'll be harder in some ways since i can't count on being bottom of the scoreboard permanently lol. being able to ignore WFYABTA with several AIs makes backfilling pure beelines so much easier, this game will require different tactics. i'll definitely try it, thanks!

if i get curious enough, i may even play a pseudo-shadow OCC version afterwards, with the same opponents, just for giggles.

I'm giving this one a try. With a small map on normal speed, it shouldn't take too much time. Normal certainly seems fast now that I'm used to epic.

Edit: And now the report is complete too.

Oops - I just started playing my shadow game and realized that the in-game name for your Civ is 'RB-Adv20'. That is what I called it when I thought it WAS adventure 20. You might like to rename it 'RB-War3' (or not).

Another quick rules clarification?

The "net modifier" includes "dead" civs as well or just the living at the end of the game?
"Seize every opportunity!"

The net modifier count does NOT include dead civs. However, you do have to take the -20 penalty if you caused the death.

If I take some cities, since peace, and another AI later attacks WITHOUT my encouragement do we still suffer the -20?

No - in that scenario - there is no penalty.

Game complete. And thank you to the scenario designer for a short game (small map, normal speed, etc.)
