[SPOILERS] Don't mention the war

Next I'll use almost healthy Mace ~70% and it loses. Stupid me - dogs and chariots are still under 50% odds so I'll just send 2 more Cuirassiers in. They both get a kill and now top defender has health 2.2 and finally I can use the weakest units. One of the dogs loses, but other Chariots/Dogs win. Hadrumetum has Forge and Courthouse.

Now trying to reinforce it so that Serdoa can't recapture it. After some thought. I decide to hit also the stack in the road towards Hadrumetum. They're unpromoted and I still have 3 Cuirassiers in the range and I could use few Barrage cats to soften them. After 2*Barrage cats+3Cuirassiers there is just Serdoa's cat left. For my surprise none of the winning Cuirassiers cause flanking damage to catapult. How is this possible? Bug maybe. Pinch Musket finishes the cat and we see this:

Then to south. I just Barrage promote the cats and throw them against Muskets on forest and then use Cuirassiers. Cats die as well as one of my Cuisarriers at ~90% odds. Job is finished with musket afterwards. I send a Lbow to check things out near Kerkouane.

Fighting from this turn is done I think so I'll just allocate new builds and end turn.

I use it regularily to speed up things. Luckily it was just 1 Dog. I probably would have noticed, if there would have been more units.

There seems to be the usual PBEM bug also there. I can see someone elses finishing builds. In this case probably WK's

Did you extend the NAP with WK, and what's the GG counter at?

Siege in cities are not susceptible to flanking damage.

We have NAP until T140 with WK and there has been little discussion about extending it.

GG counter is 74/90. Most of the battles have been out of my territory so accumulation is pretty slow.

The cat in question was on the road behind the city. I attacked out of city though. It might have been very bad luck also.

Not sure what happened with the flanking damage, there's no randomness in that I believe.

WK asked whether you wanted to extend the NAP to t160, did you respond? I'd take it, if anything we'd want to attack TMIT to grab all those cities right up against our borders, or attack mackoti with WK. Plus it'll be redcoat time for a while yet.

I've NAP with Mackoti until T160 so I suggested T155 or T165 to WK - No response. I'm getting a bit bad vibes from this, but it might be just that WK is busy.

One strange thing is what happened to Hippo stack. Apparently Mackoti doesn't see it so it must be heading north.

T130

Played pretty uneventful turn. Serdoa had killed one of my Muskets and then runaway. I respositioned some troops, but mainly I'm healing and currently I really can't proceed since Serdoa has enough to kill my stack so I need to wait until others get closer to Serdoa's core and possibly go back to Nationhood to replace lost Muskets.

I pillaged few roads also so that it is a bit more challenging for Serdoa to attack Hadrumetum.

Mackoti will probably win Communism race since he'll finish Scientific Mathod next turn. I finished Guilds and have some nice overflow. I might have chance in case I get Scientist in couple of turns, but I'm probably a turn or 2 late.

Mackoti is also trying to get the Serdoa's capital to himself. I'm totally against that. I've strong preference on razing it.
