He gets that on quite a few shows, IIRC, as his production company funds a lot of stuff, basically throwing money out there to see what works (nothing wrong with that approach, it is commendable that someone big in any industry will use his earnings to help out those down the ladder, and it helps creativity, always a good thing in my book).
