Finished as well, was able to comply with the rules. Fun and different.

Has anyone else encountered some...wacky terrain behaviour in a few of the desert tiles?!? I don't want to say anything more, and it isn't a big deal...but either I'm hallucinating, or there is some weirdness going on.
yes - it seems like a good idea to have the resource flag ON.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Sirian's Oasis map script places some resources in unusual places. The best example of that is the desert corn tiles - you won't see that on any other maps! I don't think I moved any resources around for Adv. 20, but my memory has been wrong before... Sullla Wrote:Hey, don't look at me! Sirian's Oasis map script places some resources in unusual places. When I noticed in city view that one of the desert tiles had 1f available...and then that I could farm it...and if I did, corn magically appeared....I was just curious.
Corn on a desert tile is invisible.
I thought it was BlueMarble (BM) so I reloaded the game without BM and the corn was still invisible. The resource toggle shows the corn and the corn picture actually shows up if you farm it.

i started this adventure this morning. upon meeting my second AI, i asked that leader what they thought of the first leader i met. then i hit F4 to see if those two had OB for a clue if either had writing. when i did that, i discovered i had exotic foreign advisor loaded. i had it disabled epic11, but renamed it as "CustomAssets" to take those after-the-fact screenshots about my weird diplomacy in epic 11. all it showed me was the usual faces on the screen with lines that you get without EFA, i didn't open the other tabs. i immediately saved, renamed CustomAssets so that EFA is not enabled now, and started the game again to be sure that solved the issue. it did, and the game is now safely mod-free.
two questions: #1 does that make my game an shadow? i don't need a ruling right away, i'm playing purely for fun and don't expect a game victory since domination is not once of my strengths to say the least *giggle*. i didn't see any features of the mod, the opening screen is the default screen and i caught it in time, it's not like that chariot bonus mod issue that came up in another event. but i'll happily abide by the decision, no bitterness. #2 is for Ruff_Hi: when that chariot mod issue came up, i remember you saying that you have color themes(?) set up so that you know immediately upon starting the game or loading the save (i forget) whether you have the "RB event legal" set or the "don't use this set for RB events" mods on so that you don't discover it too late like i did. would you please tell me how to do that? i don't even know what a color theme is, so be gentle. a PM is fine if the info won't help anybody else, and i'll PM the new QM (grats ![]() thank you, and i apologize for my noobness! You can manually edit your theme (located at C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Resource\Themes\Civ4 for vanilla civ4 and at a similar location for warlords) or you can use an editing program (civscale) which makes it easier to see what colour goes with what code. If you use civscale, only change the colour as this program can change things that are not approved (ie clouds). This will give you your new approved RB theme. Now, what I have is a vb program that allows me to swap in various customassets (my clock mod for RB events, my cobbled SG mod for SGs and private games or just a null directory). I'll write some comments, installation and help file for this over the week end and upload it to RB. This should do the trick. In the meantime - you should work out your RB colour theme and get it approved by T-Hawk.
