Since you just gave me a flashback, and already requested it...

I forgot about all of the "if you know what I mean" comments from that game Good times.

Your town tell for Catwalk rests on post 31, right? I agree that post makes Catwalk look pretty good if it turns out that there are in fact multiple wolf factions with alternating kills. If there is another setup, such as just one wolf faction, then Catwalk's inability to comprehend an alternating kill system doesn't prove much. Or did I miss your point?
If there's 1 team of 5 wolves, then they know there isn't space for another team so Catwolf wouldn't need to ask.
If there's 2 teams of 3+3, the GM would have told them whether they had nightly or alternating kills.
Happy with my vote where it is, on MNG

Funny you should say that, because your arguments as to "why only a wolf would say that Catwalk was village" did indeed sound very confused.

Man, 20 people is a lot to keep track of. I've barely got a handle on the main fights, let alone what everyone is doing. I'm sure there's something like half a dozen people not really playing yet, as we approach the 24 hr left mark.

I think I'm missing something here. What's your connection to Pling? I got the impression from your other posts that this is your first game - is that not true?
I think I will also vote Pling, mostly because of the attack on Meiz. And then the retreat from it, calling it 'one shade above joke' or something along those lines, without actually changing her vote. I don't see how clarifying thinking is a wolfy thing to do, frankly. I'd rather argue about who's a wolf than what Noble might have done.
And I think there's been time to come up with something better than 'almost a joke'. No opinion on the uber-Serdoa spat, Pling? Or even a desire to put pressure somewhere it could stick?
Plus - I think Meiz deserves a bit of slack. If history is any guide, he'll be one of the very first eaten, anyway, because of his skill. Unless the wolves can get him lynched first, of course.

I suppose if I'm going to argue people should comment on it, I should too
It sure reads like two villagers to me. You don't get this degree of virulence when people actually know what they're arguing about - then they can find some point of agreement. I only see this level of argument when both sides are in the dark, except for theories that differ.
Of course, my theory is that the wolves are generally playing like Pling so far - some participation, but overall trying to stay out of the spotlight.

In the interest of avoiding silly metagaming, I have put the structure of the villager PM in the first post of the thread. Remember that you cannot directly quote PMs from the GM.

Oh, I don't have a connection to pling. I didn't explain myself well -- jumped a few connections in my thought process while I was typing.
Like you guessed, I haven't played WW before (but Noble convinced me to sign up here so for our sponsor getting new blood in). Anyway, I should have added that since I don't have any game experience with anybody therefore I don't have the edge of telling how people act when they have certain roles. So I need to go with my gut on what people have posted so far. And I just got a weird vibe from pling's accusations against Meiz. From the rest of your post it appears that I'm not the only one either.

Okay, two problems faced going into the second half of the first day. First problem should be obvious. We have, what, 21 players? And 12 have votes on them at this point? While I don't think a 1-on-1 situation is good in the first days, spreading votes this thin will make it entirely too easy for the wolves to ensure a mislynch. And the second problem that I have is that Bigger doesn't have any votes on him. As a rule, I am not a fan of eliminating new players early... but his play warrants at least one vote, right? Maybe his play will improve (and with his new laptop hopefully we'll get a chance to see). If it does, hopefully we'll be able to discern if it's natural growth or nudging from werewolf buddies. Either way, I think a vote on Bigger gives us the most potential for learning something right now.
