Werewolf 12: Lurker Thread

Ichabod Wrote:You see, our targets start to seem a bit set in stone. That's bad and I don't like it.

Then one post later...

Quote:might as well just take the least effort path and lynch Commodore -> Tasunke. That'd be okay, like I've already said.

No matter his role, Ichabod should be watching out.... I was lynched after being similarly inconsistent...
You can get a look at a t-bone by looking up the bulls ass but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it.

yup, he's shot up on my radar high in the last 20 hours. (Not that I can do much about it from the lurker thread, hehe).

Bigger Wrote:this is odd. I don't remember expressing an opinion about Pling at all - wolf or village. Although I liked the rest of molach's post.

I think Molach ment that you felt the same to him (like pling does => pling is innocent)

Bigger Wrote:Given my role reveal, and me being village should reveal I was telling the truth about Gaspar - I am naturally suspicious of anyone going after Gaspar. I hope someone picks up on this and puts pressure on Ichabod.

They only know that Gaspar was investigated. They don't know if it wsa an alignement check or and Role-check. A role-check would a) push the checker high up on the lynchlist as this is often the role of the Devil (=WW) and B) under the assumption of more than 1 wolfpack it would tell nothing that Gaspar has been checked.

Sareln Wrote:Ichabod's insight into the balance/unbalance inherent in non-consecutive village watchers is really good, but at the same time suspicious. Why was he thinking in terms of balancing the packs?

Well I was also very interested in 2-pack balances and I was most certainly a villager. Were I still alive I would vote Sareln now just because wink.

The fact that someone targetted Gaspar with an unknown ability doesn't say anything about his alignment one way or another.

well, I was working under the assumption he was targetted by a seer.
If he was targetted by a seer it does the village no good to target Gaspar, whether that seer was wolf or village.

If he was targetted by a role reveal, as Rowain suggests - that may be a different story. Still it makes me nervous if the person that targetted Gaspar is village - there must be a reason he didn't come forward (which might have saved me and give us info on Gaspar), so if he is village, I'd rather not force him forward.

Rowain Wrote:The question was put up by Gaspar. I just pointed out what he had asked.

No, this is what Gaspar asked.

Gaspar Wrote:1. Is the flavor portion of the announcement written by NH (Can you confirm this NH?) or part of the announcement.

And that's what I answered. He didn't ask what part of the text was the flavor portion. He asked who wrote the flavor portion. I said that I did.

With your story you have now everybody convinced that I was railing at you because of the PM and what not so I would appreciate a clarification(here in the lurkerthread) from you that I did not contact you in any form or way during the game. Not rage at you via PM etc.

I see absolutely no evidence of this. You have a bit of a reputation for being angry at the GM (as mentioned in the thread) and I need flavor text material. But sure, you didn't rage at me via PM, lol.

I think you are wrong, Gaspar. The village has to lych commodore due to that metagame issue. Kicking around votes is pretty meaningless then and might make it easyer for the wolfs. The wolfs get a preview of the next day and can build cover more easy because its hard to get lyched. To make a random metaphor its like if the defense in the OJ trail interviewd Mark Furman and asked him "that" question. He would not have to answer right away and would come up with the right answer at trail.

well I certainly can see what Gaspar means about Lewwyn always appearing wolfish.

hmm, Pindicator seems to be coming into his own. I think he was a little lost (being new to WW) the first couple of days, but seems to making good village arguments on day 2! Good Job Pin.

Zakalwe is looking pretty suspicious to me atm, after he put a wolfish spin on all Rowain's arguments he's doing the same again with Ichabod.
