Actually ... come to think of it ...

Could an announcer fake that message? ( the one where it says Catwalk had used his power?)

...

I dunno, but didn't he say that it delayed it by a day as well?

Not sure whether I should vote for Catwalk or Novice then.

On the other hand ... I don't see a 13-4-4 set up even if that may have been more balanced now that we know how it works.

While on the face of it, while Catwalk's day extension-lessness seems scummy, if packs are only 3 people large, I see no reason for Catwalk to do this to novice, etc.

Part of my reasoning for why an announcer may have done it was because I didn't see Catwalk's "I dun did it" right before NobleHelium's post. Regardless, if that was the case, for Catwalk to not deny it would deem collaboration.

Therefore, while I still think its possible that an announcer could have made NH say that ... its starting to look more like a tin hat theory (and this is my own inner dialogue, I haven't seen what other people have said about my own :weed: yet lol

With all that re-figured out, I think I am more willing to follow Gaspar onto Zakalwe ... but after arguing with myself between the two (Zak and Sareln) I am still pretty well split down the middle.

It makes sense, right? Sailors must kill and eat a lot of fish out of necessity. But as you discuss it further and ponder other possibilities, you hear whisperings in your head.

You glance around and try to find the source of the whispering. It appears other people heard it too. The whispering doesn't seem to come from any direction in particular...until you see someone put his head to the ground. You drop to your knees and the sound gets louder. You put your head against the ground too, and the voice seems almost coherent. You can barely make out the following words:

Hello village, this is the Gray Werewolf Announcer. We believe there are three wolf packs.

Given how NH did the last message announcer message, I don't think the announcer role could fake Catwalk's power role usage. Good lateral thinking though, that would have not even occurred to me.

ah, looks like no one saw (or at least responded to) the extreme weed of post 1431 before I posted 1432. hehe

Onto the rest of the post then! tongue

---------------

Zakalwe's night post is just confusing. A risky wolf plan? But then Sareln's matter of fact claim ... while at facevalue reading less wolfish, I guess its just a minimum risk approach? Sort of like Commodore's vanilla claim on day 2.

Ah, thanks Sareln.

Yes, lateral thinking ... not at all Tasunke-brand craziness tongue

I had thought that idea would have gotten myself slapped across the head for insanity lol

anyways, getting sleepy, etcetera ... may post in a few hours if not asleep. (later)

Yeah, its interesting as far as tinfoil hat stuff goes but I believe the green text is intended to signify official stuff therefore cannot contain deception.

(I should mention that I say this having spent extensive time talking to NobleHelium and I know he's one of the most over-officious bastards I've ever met.)

Oh I see.

Damn, yea the Announcer text was white, while official is green. Interesting.

I think it would have been more funny if Announcer could have mimicked an official post though lol

(guess that theory is debunked properly now smile)

Deception is futile. You will be assimilated.

Eh, quite a bit of digital ink has been spilled over the players needing to be able to trust the GameMod.

My claim is straightforward b/c there's nothing to hide lol

I don't think I would characterize Commodore's claim as minimal risk.
