Makes sense if we don't do Epic speed, but I'm thinking that just going Epic might be best. Open to suggestions here.

Ito Ittomise will be providing for himself-- and looking from each of the other Samurai--a spoilered paragraph called "Supreme Intentions" which will indicate which way his spirit leans, eg:

- Promotion path, eg: Combat II, Drill II, Drill III, Combat III, ...)
- Attack/Defense plan, eg: "Attack without regard" "Hold the Pass" "Defend the villagers" "Guard the latrine"
- Sentence to remove confusion, eg: "None shall pass" "You call that a knife?!" "Amida Buddha, don't let me die today" "Kiai!!!" "Revenge is a dish best served cold"

in full awareness that one's intentions are always subject to the vicissitudes of what comes to pass.

Also, I suggest very short sets with quick turnarounds. Maybe 5 turns? Skips will be painless. All will stay involved.

I would not be surprised if we could beat the AI and save the villagers.

Definetely against lowering the difficulty.

Epic speed is probably a good idea, I think either 5 or 10 turn rotations is best, tha maths will get annoying with 7 i think

Yeah, open up the WBsave (open it in WB then save it from there) in a text editor and add a line near the top (with the other game options) saying

Option=GAMEOPTION_ALWAYS_WAR

(It'll be obvious.) Save it and load it up via Single Player -> Custom Scenario.
