I'm in the game with the first turn played.

Bob's done a great job beelining Hybie....turn 56 is a great time.

But such speed comes at a price. Like no worker techs. Which is fine.

'Cause I don't have any workers.

6 warriors (for 3 cities, some with promos) and an Acolyte. That's my military.

Capital is on an island, has 12 pop points some infra, 4 unhappy citizens and a pile of hammers invested in the Heron Throne.

Other cities also suck.

I'll get some screenies up of their suckyness next turn. After they've been appropriately whipped.

Slavery sucks in FFH.....but it doesn't suck so much when you're only paying 1f per pop and you have SFA in the way of improved tiles.


That plus I think I can Ninja Rosey and possibly the Grimoire away from Bob......

Bob revolted to GK/Nationhood so his 1st GP is at least 11 more turns away. I'm pretty certain I can get enough hammers/unhappy pop into the cap to whip the Grimoire in 10 t. (no guarantees on this one, I haven't actually done the work to figure out the city production micro stuff to the last decimal place yet )


6 pop whipped the Heron Throne.

Which is an insane idea under most circumstances, but in this case....5 of those people were unhappy anyway....and it's +6 (base + 50% GK) hammers/turn.

I really *need* some workers.

And a Rosey. 6 or 7 turns before I can whip him.

And about 6 more cities

and some granaries


No fresh water and only 3 new health resources in sight is going to *hurt* once I give up Expansive.




OTOH, If I can pull off Rosey + The Grimoire before t70....

Yep. 35 g. I was 3t from being able to 3 pop whip him. Bob built him very quickly.

Not sure what you mean by "revenge on Bob"....he handed back Ankh Morpork (which has now changed hands 5 times since I've taken over the Lanun :hat: ) in exchange for the warrior he killed. (no idea if he got a Mane or not, the log isn't trustworthy IMO).

And I now have Hell Terrain adjacent to two Horse resources.

Revenge on Bob???? Damn. I want to thank the man. :D


OTOH.....the Horseshaggers I owe a favour to. And they have some nice cottage type improvements within range of Horsemen/Chariots.

Once I actually get some of them on the board.

My current military is a bunch of Agg copper warriors with 3 swords and a drown for back up. I'm at 1/4 of the next best military.

Should be some fun....so long as the other players decide to let me live. :D

Fun facts:

1) While loading onto a boat uses up a unit's remaining move points, it does not actually *require* that the unit have any move points remaining.

2) Freshly upgraded units that have not cast a spell that turn can still cast a spell.

3) Casting a spell does not require that the unit has movement points left

4) I finished up research on Priesthood on t109.
