Idea for Alliance activity

I have:
Zho's Journal
Moa Egg
Spiritwood planks
Steel Ingots
5000g
Honeycomb

I have to get:
Nesting Material (easy since I have the skree wings)
Volcanic Rock (again, easy)
Herring (don't have bog skale fins)
Juni Berries (I hate that quest)

Zho's Journal took me about 10 tries to actually fight Zho. Waiting for opponents whom I had an advantage over was the problem for me. Zho is a pushover.

Of course I wasn't referring to those who have voted. But voting is the most basic event guild and alliance members can and should participate in, especially one that's be prepared weeks ago. The turn out was disappointing to say the least.

Ah, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be trying to get things together or not. But without trying yet, I have:

Zho's Journal - Fought him on my second attempt...lucky...after Danika ended my first attempt.
Steel Ingots
5000g

I have to get:
Honeycomb - No idea where, yet...i'm not very advanced in EoTN.
Nesting Material
Volcanic Rock
Herring
Juni Berries
Spiritwood planks - I have the materials, though.

I still have one of the sorrows furnace quests to complete before I can do the final one...

I got mine as a quest reward in Norn territory I think.

As long as someone else in the party has the final quest active and activates it when we leave the warcamp, the rest of the party doesn't need to have completed all the other quests.

I'm just gathering what I can. If we do it as a group later that won't bother me. But things like crafting materials and gold I would say obtain on your own.

As for completing EotN with a group of people, I'd say lets all just meet at EotN. I'm slowly moving my characters there and is a nice place to start. If we went as a group, we'd probably get stuck at the Hall of Monuments for a bit playing with the tapestry thing and then putting in titles or whatever else into the monument we activated.

So I say meet at EotN/Hall of Monuments. Its not hard to crossover and move your character to that point. Collect all primary story line quests. Don't forget to pick up the books. Complete any side quests you want in the mean time, but try to stay at EotN or don't go too far unless you don't mind repeating stuff with us. Do whatever you have to in HoM so that when we get together we're ready to go.

How's that sound?

So far it seems like only me and Hawk are going to do this. No one else?

It's a reward for the quest A Hunter's Pride - you'll encounter it pretty early on in EotN. The NPC that gives it, Hagni Truthseeker, resides in Drakkar Lake (where you will be going for a whole ton o' quests anyway).

Eh, if I'm around and free when you guys set off, I'll definitely join. I only really play with my Necro, but I don't mind replaying areas...I'll just use the opportunity to farm rank.

On that note, I realised last night that the random bounty bonuses are not the same for every player. I can imagine this leading to some interesting PUG tension when the Hunt Rampage affects only selected party members. I think my partner last night was a little annoyed when I suddenly started aggroing everything in sight mid quest for no apparent reason. 8) Oops.

It's also a funny quest.

Sooooooo....I'll be ready to begin at the Eye of the North around 8:30 pm Eastern tonight. My warrior is currently gawking at all the empty wall space in the Hall of Monuments. lol
