As much as everyone bemoans the vulture's lower odds against axes straight up on even ground, within cities and used appropriately they are just fine. If you go back and look at PB4 and Luddite against Mackoti, Luddite is Sumeria and does just fine against Mack during ancient war using a mix of chariots, vultures and spears.

Depends what the other teams take. I mean TBH I like our position just fine as we'll have the opportunity to pick back to back ensuring synergy between picks.

Yeah, Mist messed up a little bit on that. I assume fifth position is not the worst one, so we lucked out here if that decision stands.
It's unlikely that Huyna will fall on the first 4 picks, if we pick it 5th there is some denial value. But I do like Darius of Sumeria. Is 56x56 cramped or spacious for 5 players?

I like HC if India, Inca, Willem, Pacal come before us if for no other reason than to make sure he's denied to India.

Assuming those first 4 picks, the downside to picking HC is that it leaves open Sury for India. I don't think there is a way to stop them getting a good leader.

Actually, I'd bet almost all my money Team Parkin takes HC ahead of us, so we'll probably have a choice of either Willem or Inca.
Yeah - only way I think Parkin wouldn't take HC is if India's still left, which I can't imagine would be at pick 4.
