Doesnt really matter as long as he's not running Ashen Veil. It wont spread into Evil lands until AC 50. It wont even spread into unowned lands until AC 25.

Oh yes, I forgot about that. So I guess he's safe for now.

I don't think this is a good time for an opportunistic strike on Ilios, plako. nono

Reading the Kurio/Angel thread these days sounds like me when I play SP games. "Well, if we just get <insert every tech in the game>, we can build <insert every unit in the game>." Commodore talks the most sense, but he's afk now and they don't listen to him anyway. I like Ilios to win at this point.

Much like me in SP. I think they might start really baring down now that Ilios is attacking, but yeah, they very well might not win, despite having what seemed (to me) like a commanding lead.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

I'd like HK's chances alot better if he wasn't being attacked by the other three major powers at the same time. 1 on 1 he and Mardoc would probably have no problem taking out any one of them.

Its unfortunate HK managed to organize a dog pile against himself in a no diplo game by declaring on and raiding everyone else for little or no gain.

In hindsight I think not taking out Bob as soon as Angels were in play was a mistake. Now with plako and illos being aggressive that chance has passed and Bob will continue to remain an annoyance for the duration of the game.

Like said above, they've played pretty much precisely like I play SP games of FFH - too cautious, too trying to collect all the toys, too much waiting for overwhelming force. The problem is that your opponents here are not morons and the more time you give them the more time they have to catch up.

That said, there's still an excellent chance they win. Angels are hella good and they have a significant tech edge. But you can't take on everyone and then just chill and hope - somebody needs to die.

Wasn't Order already in that city of Lugus' Light?

So why would capturing a city erase the religion and re-spread it from the Elohim?
