Ok, turn rolled. I am logging in to grab the C&D data. A bit too late as some settling and late turn whipping has occurred already.

Here the big news: Buddhism has been founded!
And we have German Quecha on our northern border!
I have assigned 2/4 EP towards the Germans for now. Not all 4 which will bring their graphs in earlier, because:
a) a 2-2 split between CFC and Germans could be interpreted as, we don't give a shit about proper EP management
b) we are only ~30 EP away from seeing CFCs research, which might be more valuable than early graphs for the Germans!

EDIT: Turnplayer has to set the proper research.

Who founded Buddhism? Do we want to reconsider building Oracle? We should discuss this before moving anything.

CivPlayers, they got a 6-point score increase. Apolyton only got a 2-point, and they finished an expensive tech just last turn.

What's our personality peg on CivPlayers? Likely to go after Oracle?

My opinion: don't change our plan.

We can't speed up the Oracle and get the tech we want. Thus, us going for the Oracle right now would mean only getting the wonder to spite CivPlayers, and because we were the first to Priesthood.

We have an extremely solid micro plan, that will give us 5 quickly developing cities soon. Going for the Oracle earlier will require more worker actions (due to less efficient chopping) and slower expansion, for very little gain.

If CivPlayers has a good plan on how to get and use the Oracle, then we should celebrate good play, not punish it just because we can.

Those aren't the only two options - we could just not go for the Oracle. Although how much would our plan deviate before the last 4 turns even if we aren't going for the wonder? Probably not much at all. We might get an extra military unit out of MM but that's about it.

I guess the main thing is that if we don't go for the Oracle we could head to Monarchy now instead of Mathematics. That's the main possible change.

Also: what's our assessment of their in-game situation? What techs do they have, how much pop, and how long did it take them to get Meditation?
