I'm hopeful it is an island. If so, that should spawn bust a good chunk if not all of this, if it is in fact an inland sea. We will just have to wonder for a while though with no way to scout it for now.

Are we actually 100% agreed on the position of the third city (jesus city, Fish site)?
I am not sure whether all the the micro will still work out, but have we dismissed the spot 1N of its currently planned position?
To get more proper land tiles in the north?

I guess we can settle on a final location next turn when the Warrior defogs some extra tiles, but the micro plans I've seen so far place it E of the fish (2W of the Corn)

Edit: Do we have a name for the site already? Jesus city may end up offending someone so going for a more neutral name would have my vote. We have had a decent amount of sea-based adventures so there should be no shortage of suitable names.

I believe our Oracle micro is safe either on the desert or the grass 1N, we'd only lose some work on the cottaged grass tiles shared with AO for a couple turns. However, I think the 3 food lake and the extra work into those cottages are worth more overlap. This, of course, subject to change if our warrior (me!) finds anything interesting...like horses...

Now I've played through Seven's Oracle plan. Extremely impressive! goodjob

I found a small error in the description: Keep Clam won't get its granary until eot71, but that's very minor.

With 47 GPP left to our Prophet, we can work 1t with a single priest, and 4t with two priests, and get it with exactly 100 GPP.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

Agreed. Also, by placing the JC on the desert, we get a decent early Maoi candidate. It has seven coast tiles, two of which are high quality (fish and fresh water), and enough hammers to build it reasonably quickly.

Yes, let's come up with a proper city name please. We didn't have any adventures or epics named Jesus City. What about that one where you started with Sid's Sushi?

That game was called Something Fishy. Feels like a solid name for the new city to me as well.

I still can't find anything in the SevenSpirits plan that I would do differently, but I think there's one minor typo in there. On Turn 67, the plan has Mansa's Muse working corn, gold, priest, grass. There's a plains river cottage also available (NW of the city) that turn, and I'm pretty sure that Seven meant for us to be working the 1/1/3 cottage tile over the priest specialist. I checked and the Oracle still completed on time with no problems. That's the only very minor issue I could find; in all other cases, I was reading the spreadsheet incorrectly. (The one drawback: it's not always clear what "grass" cottage the plan is requesting each city to work.)

Side note: if we do land Oracle -> Currency as laid out in this plan, our GNP shoots up to 114. On Turn 69. And it's still 104 GNP at break-even research (70%). Umm - so much for disguising any kind of lead. lol

That's because we're planning to work priests over at least some cottages on subsequent turns, and it's not clear what we're going to be building. Since we are completing a worker that turn (no growth), it made sense to me to work the 0f tile, so that we could work a 1f or 2f tile later while not building a worker. Of course, possibly we'll just build a worker after oracle anyway in which case it's a wash.

Can you post your post-Oracle save? You have the updated terrain and such I believe. I might play around with some continuations on settling next cities. Yeah I know it's premature given that we don't even know if we'll get Oracle or not yet, but still.
