Yeah NE next. Moving onto the plains hill turned out to be a good move for sure.

Finally got a turn again - feels like it's been forever. Scout moved NE as planned:
Looks like just keep on going NE onto the jungled hill. This is some nice land for Commodore btw... It's slightly lacking in seafood, but the food and amount of green terrain is solid. Once he hacks this jungle down anyways. Also, check out his bizarre this land is so far:
Quite a funny land formation here. Vaguely resembles PB4 actually, though there's certainly more emphasis on the word vaguely than resembles. Good news - we'll have more than just a scout next turn!
Pretty soon we can start working our way out of the great Worst Start Ever that we were forced to play here. Commodore has gotten a few power bumps:
Safe to say those are techs/pop? Or what?

T24 is up, so I played. Scout finds the continually winding path:
1) E-something here. E-NE?
2) Look, we got to the end of the jungle strip. That's... really weird. That's 3-5 vertical tiles of jungle between the forests? This is kinda strange - I expected a little more than that.
Worker finally completed, started pasturing the pigs. I believe this was our plan:
As documented in this post:
http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid306523
So hammers into the WB until the pigs comes online, then max-food. I haven't ended turn yet, but there's no issues with this right?

I worked the pig immediately in my sim, but I didn't try the PHF variation so I don't know which is better.

So did I.
It looks like the difference is
Pig + Clam @ eot30: Size 3, 19/26 food, 13/30h into wb
Clam + pfh @ eot30: Size 3, 12/26 food, 19/30h into wb

Er, I saw the turn was still untouched and somehow didn't see your post here, so I went ahead and played, keeping us on the pfh since that's how I ran it in my sim awhile back. Hope this is OK? Scout move:
More jungle, that's more normal. That weird forest strip there is odd.
