Our freshly-minted Work Boat improved the Fish, allowing us to work the following tiles as we start in on a Worker:



Mining finished at the end of the turn; next it's on to Bronze Working!

So looking back at my sim, it appears that map size actually affects tech costs a lot ... Bronze Working will actually finish three turns later than predicted. So I suppose we'll farm the Corn, then chop a forest.

Nor for Turns 16 or 17. The Worker finishes in two turns (after I ended the turn), at which point I'll post a real update, including of my reconnaissance. My Scout is just mucking about in some jungle right now; I regret going up there and wasting his double moves, and I think I'll recall him soon.

give me a screenshot before you decide ... depending on the way the map looks it might very well be the way to the other players ... and knowing players means getting bonus on researching stuff they allready know.

Futhermore ... going deep into it only to abort and return is waste of even more turns than keeping 'mucking about' deep into it would be ... at least IMO

i'd continue, the land to your east and northwest looks somewhat alike the arm your moving along on now ... flip a coin and pick which way you want to go ... as soon as you meet someone on an arm, return and take the next one till you meet someone
