Clam is good. Can't settle next to the clam and still pick up the copper though...a pity.

Yep. So do we need to bring the warrior back this turn? Do you happen to know exactly what turn Commodore's warrior was built?

Also, first cities are starting to go down. It looks like Plako and Serdoa got their first cities settled, and I think Brick did too.

By the graph he built his warrior the turn before we built our warrior. So if he beelines our civ it will take him 12 turns to get to or city #2 spot. So i wouldnt go more than 3 tiles north of the capital to make sure we get to the spot first with our warrior

Meh, I don't think there's really a hurry to scout the north. Commodore cannot rush past us anymore, it can wait 10-20 turns.

Ok, played the turn.
Moved to chop next turn. ALso started bringing the warrior back. The scout is also on his long trek back:
Demos:
Quite a few people have gotten their second cities in the last couple turns I think. Top cities:

Played turn, again not much going on. A ton of people have founded cities in the last two turns - though I haven't been tracking closely so it's possible one or two of them were tech poppers I suppose. I did notice Commodore get a city-like score increase, and sure enough:
Gotta think he settled north for corn unless there's something we can't see? Overview:
All going according to plan. That chop completes on the same turn the settler completes, which means we'll overflow into a 1T workboat to net the third clams. That concludes our initial plan, so we have nothing scheduled after that. Second worker? Or a warrior. Second worker might be good - we're going to need worker turns for hooking copper (capital borders pop in 12T) and we'll have some chopping/cottaging to do.
Also, thoughts on where to begin in the gold city? We're going to need a border pop there because of the gold. Not crazy about sinking huge amounts of hammers into an ikhanda, but it's either that or tech Mysticism immediately and get a Monument in there.

NOOOO THE WOLVES HAVE FAILED US QQ
I prefer going for religion to get the border pop in the gold city. I think we have a good shot with an early game GNP lead.
