They've already spotted it, as Sullla's in-game chat shows.
I have to run.

I'm not at all confident that there's another good city spot down there to pick up a key resource like marble (there is one unforested tile) that we planted just out of range of down there. The area is tundra. Not a lot of food in the tundra. We can't overlap Seven Tribes's food with a potential city to its south.

Actually we can overlap the wheat so that wouldn't be too bad I guess.

We are talking BFC of a city placed on the southern desert, right?

The agreement with CFC is that no settling past the oasis "column" is allowed.
They then (on Turn 68) told us that they would settle a city "very soon" that claims the oasis.
So far that city has not materialized.
Seeing the fish now, I think there are probably only two valid spots for CFC to settle a city claiming the oasis. Basically the two coastal tiles, 1SW of the hill, 1s of the hill. Although Caledorn has given us the following spots under discussion by them ( NE, NE-NE, NE-E or E-SE). "E-SE" is 1S of the hill, claiming the fish. The only option I see for them to claim the fish. And why would they not want to claim it.
This would have us fight for the fish and 1SW of the hill would even rule out Sullla's red dot, which seems like the only viable placement for us.
So point one would be to figure out why CFC informed us of a new city that has yet not been settled. (I suspect they wanted us to not race them for the spot???)
Point two would be to figure out whether we prioritize the red dot over other planned city placements. And potentially engage CFC in a cultural war.

The northern Spear should go scouting the western jungle.
There is no point in continuing further north, that fogged desert hill 3E-NE of Worms is the last tile he can go to. From the cultural tainting, the next city to Worms' north is their capital. It will not be visible from the hill. So all we would reveal is some tiles but no city tile. I think its not worth it sending our scout into that dead end.

I'm talking about the tile 3e1s of the wheat. That may or may not be forested, I can't tell from the screenshots. If you have a good fog read on that tile from logging in then of course I defer to you.

This is what I thought too. And there are several other city spots that we'd need to settle first(stone, spices, and oases/corn st least) so it would be quite a while before we settle a hypothetical deer/fur site in the tundra.
