I'd be happy to play warlords or vanilla. Oh wait - that'll mean I cannot use this game to show-case BUG. Hmmn. Oh well - guess that is just too bad.

Lets play as vanilla and view the game as a 'golden oldie'. :rolleyes:
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Okay so Vanilla it is. What do you think about trying deity? SGs always seem to raise your game, and with this one, the MMing might be enough to raise it up to deity.

Maybe we could cheat a little and have someone make sure in WB that we actually have strategic resources rolleye

So what kind of settings should we go for then? I'm thinking some sort of panagea or maybe close continents game.

Probably a leader that has a good early UU?

If you want to play deity (I am ok with that), lets go Warlords and play Cyrus. He has good waring traits and an early UU. And happy with some map peek help.

I've been following (rather silently) the DG over at Apolyton and am interested in participating in this "Slow SG". Vanilla or Warlords is good for me. Time to bring back the classics. smile

Okay Ruff and I chatted a bit today and I am going to create a thread over at CFC later on today. Anyone that wants to can go over there and lurk it (I will post the link here when it's done)

We think our settings will be:
Game: Warlords
Level: Deity
Map: Great Plains
Leader: Cyrus (Cha/Imp), Hunting/Agriculture

Plan is for 2 turns a day till we get our first worker / warrior / workboat / something, then 1 turn per day.

Anyone that wants to chime in for those settings (or why those settings are stupid) feel free

Just play a map where you can "balance" the resources. No need to cheat, it will guarntee that all civs get the Strategic resources.
