Some minor suggestions, possible refinements, and clarifications on Novice's latest sim:
On T81 MM is set to grow in 2t to wait out the whip anger.
On T82, workers F and G road the plains tile 1NE of FP to help settling Forbidden Fruit. I think they should road the grass tile 1N of FP instead. This makes it easier to cottage the grass tile later on.
We can get TH to grow to 3 1t earlier by working Cows, Bananas on T82. But we'll reach size 4 on the same turn, so I think I value the extra gems-turn more.
We will have more commerce due to international trade routes, so we can likely run 0% science on T82 as well.
On T82 we can trade 2F for 1H and another cottage-turn, if GM works the riverside plains cottage and AO picks up the lakeside grass cottage (just due to become a hamlet).
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

How does that get us another cottage turn? We would just be trading a cottage turn on the flood plains cottage for a turn on the grass cottage, which is clearly inferior.

Ah, should have been T83 in my original post, when GM has grown to size 4 but the third cottage hasn't been finished yet. Sorry about that.

Ultimately though more food is better, working the plains instead of the fp would end up delaying growth to size 7 or something, when we'll have improved tiles ready to be worked.
I have to run.

I tried to do some projections of our research capacity from T82 onwards, and I think that with the trade routes we can manage to get Currency Calendar end of turn 85, by running 100% science from T82 onwards.
On the other hand, we only get the library at end of turn 82, so it might be better to run 100% gold on T82 anyway. But we don't need to run 30% science of T82 - the 7Cpt from the trade routes is just enough to cover those beakers in 4t.

You mean Calendar?
Getting Calendar eot85 would be a 2t improvement and a huge difference. We would likely want to modify the micro plan in that case to get an earlier plantation and adjust city growth accordingly.

Current plan has Calendar eot86, so it's a one turn improvement. Still worth checking out though. If nothing else we could start the MoM sooner. We'd probably have to rejig a lot of the micro plan though, not sure anyone has time for that.
If we stay with the current eot86 schedule I would still put some beakers into Calendar on t82. I'd hate to lose OB or something and see Calendar delayed.
I have to run.

Thoughts on how to use an earlier calendar, from memory:
* The spices can be hooked up sooner. After chopping with 3 workers, cottage the tile 1W with all three, and have all three start the plantation afterwards.
* with the bananas, we need to speed up the silks chop so we can make it back to the bananas in time. Maybe moving both banana workers onto the silks will do the trick. And maybe skip a part-cottage with the worker from AO.
* using the increased happy cap: will need to look at the plan, but obviously don't needlessly delay growth.
So pros and cons: I think we can speed up the bananas, but it will cost a couple of worker turns. We can speed up spices, but we might not need the happiness one turn sooner. Starting teching on t82 is slightly less efficient than waiting for AO's library. We can start MoM one turn sooner with an earlier Calendar, that's ~8 more hammers into MoM.
I have to run.

I doubt the Germans would like to cancel the OB treaty, even if they don't get anything out of it right now. First, continuing the treaty would be the default action; second, cancelling OB with us would be a strong signal that they don't want us as friends.
Which would make sense if they had another strong ally lined up and ready to prop them up, but they don't have that. The Spanish team is almost as far behind us as them, CFC is also far behind us and a long way away, they're at war with WPC (who is just as backwards), and that only leaves Apolyton. Who don't have contact with us, is quite a bit from the Germans, and have their main strength in tech only.
Or we can keep the eot86 date for Calendar, and use that breathing room to whip out another worker or two.

I would leave the current plan in place. It will take a lot of work (and mental effort on my part) to do a complete rework of our plans, and I'm not sure that speeding up Calendar by one turn is all that significant. Speeding up Calendar by one turn doesn't get us Currency any faster, since we're leaving ourselves with no gold in the bank for the next tech.
I also think it makes the most sense to begin teching the same turn that we finish the library in Adventure One (eot 82 / T83). Kind of wasteful to go 100% science the turn before our capital finishes its beaker multiplier.
