I'd also play in all games, though I have the same questions in general that zak has. As preference I believe I'd like the auction idea, but as I am not sure how it actually works that might change if it is completely different than what I expect.

On the Angel vs Demon concept: Two players would be selected to play the angel and demon in a quicktopic separate from the main thread. They would be allowed to read it but not post, and able to influence the mortal world indirectly via, for example, granting powers to players. However, to maintain interactivity, whatever the angel and demon did would be in full view of the other player.

Auction: The game starts on day zero with everyone knowing their alignment, having X units of currency and a list of powers up for auction. Players may discuss on day zero and then divide up their money to secretly bid for each power during the night and the highest bid gets it with a dice roll breaking any ties. So if 2 people bid 100 on Seer one randomly gets Seer and the other gets nothing. The game then proceeds as normal.
